We took a train ride out of Dillsboro several years ago to Bryson City..it was a Valentines special, as I won this in a drawing from a local magazine promotion. Dillsboro and Spruce Pine are my absolute favorite towns in NC. It is my dream when my husband and I finally retire, we can live in one of them. I will definitely check out that shop Karen found the jumpsuit and jacket next time we are there. God Bless. Give Big T a hug for me -:)

It has been many years since I have been to Dillsboro. Our family friend, who is now passed away, had a place in Glenville, NC. Every time we would stay with her, we would go to that same Bar-b-que restaurant. She went there so much they knew her by her first name. It was delicious way back then. Thanks for sharing. It brought back a lot of great memories. Hey, my man, Big T. 👋 Hugs and kisses to you. 🤗 😘 ❤ My little dog, Buddy, will be 13 on Saturday, the 22nd and it is also our wedding anniversary. 19 years. Continued prayers for our family, please. Also, an extra one for my quick healing since I slipped and fell in my hallway yesterday. I didn't break anything. Bruised knee and really sore all over. Have fun, be safe, and God Bless.❤

Love quaint little towns with the local handcrafted shops and architectural buildings. Dear Karen, I ordered the purse you were using today. I watched the video where you purchased the bag, kept going back and forth to hear the designer’s name! My daughter bought it for my upcoming birthday because I kept raving about it! I am a copycat but you have awesome taste and always look beautiful!

We ate at the Jarrett House some years ago during a layover while on a Great Smoky Mountain Railroad excursion between Bryson City and Dillsboro. The food was great, and our hosts shared some of the history of Jarrett House. It was a beautiful building then, and I'm glad someone is working to restore it. Thanks for this video; I remembered many of the little shops you pointed out. Dillsboro is really worth the trip. We will certainly plain to make the trip (by car) from Johnson City, soon! God bless!

Hi Mike and Karen!! Just a thought about your little canister idea. Why don’t you put a gift card inside the canister for a really neat gift shop or restaurant that both of you really loved!!!
