Just so everyone knows. Slayers crouching heavyslash was never special cancellable in past guilty gears. This is one of the reasons why I believe strive slayer is so much more powerful

Oh absolutely, being able to special cancel off of everything gives him ABSURD amounts of power. I played xrd for a while and slayer was TOUGH to learn in that game, always trying to figure out what the next pressure route would be, trying to decide between staggering with a move like 2h or just dandy step in, getting relatively minimal reward off of things that only went into 2d Now i just kinda dont have to care about any of that, i hit button, dandy step, more button, stagger, low, dandy step, more button, spaced, 2h, dandy step, stagger, bite, counter hit, 2 MILLION BILLION DAMAGE
