I’m a local and been riding it for over 2 years now and still cannot go the speed you were going. The local elite are wicked fast, like flawless almost, but man for only riding it once before you can tell that you are at pro level riding. Beautiful to watch the flow

I agree! One summer I was hitting that trail 2 or 3 times every week, and I dont think I was that fast. I thought you edited it at first. Amazing the be this fast the second time!

Did that exact route last year after a checking out Sea Otter. Pipeline is a really fun trail and it has to be after that climb.

i'm a local, and i hiked the that trail going up to the peak, semis, and egales. it's a really fun video, and the speed you are going is crazy to me. I only done rides on the other side of 68

Great video and awesome trail. That's in my back yard. I ride the Seaside side of Fort Ird mostly. Need to get over to Pipeline. You need to get North and ride Santa Cruz.

The corkscrew hairpin switch back! I could ride trails like this and never get bored! I love climbing too

Awesome! My rides are 11 am Friday from Vittoria. 3 pm Friday from Orange Seal and 1 pm from Wahoo on Saturday.

We started building the trail in 2010 and it took nearly 2 years to complete the basic trail.

Pipeline is definitely local gem. Ride 'Airplane' trail too, it's legit radness in Toro park

It's all about marks canyon an airplane for sure. I never take 1800 up I'm a toyon climber it's just faster.

Dude this looks legit. Flow for days, but the exposure would make me nervous going hog wild down this thing without knowing the trail.

great fucking video man. I like how you run through your entire downhill run with no cuts/edits. Your commentary is the cherry on top. I’m starting to make videos of my own and I’m definitely going to try creating something like what you have going on. Keep it up man, this style of video can seriously help out loads of people with unfamiliar trails

the next time you come to sea otter go to Fort Ord Salinas side off Reservation rd it's also off highway 68 and ride the goat trail, trail 41 you'll like the downhill

Yeah, I rode it for the first time in June. It is fun trail, but there are more technical trails around the Santa Cruz and San Jose areas.

Damn those lifts to creek would get me! I need to make a note of this trail to not hit any jumps. lol Those were sketchy AF especially when you said you don’t really know the trail and going at that speed. 😳 Nice video and awesome ride! Thanks for sharing! 🤙

Jeff, thanks for taking me on the ride :-) definitely an exciting and Scenic descent. I wonder how much of your brake pads were consumed on that one? What was the total elevation loss? Make sure you change your pads out before your race.

Pipeline is a downhill only trail but the cows have been know to be on it and you can find hikers on there as well.

This trail is more of a trial that will punish your poor decision making for attempting it with anything less than a JL skill level.....if ur not Black Diamond certified--> STAY AWAY

@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss The fact ur 6-4 makes ur vid all the more impressive.....I'm 5-10 and hit my head twice. Fact is that mountain biking is becoming mainstream and that trail is NOT. It's rated Black Diamond when a Double Black designation is more accurate. Flow Trail in Santa Cruz was much more enjoyable due to its more moderate construction.

Not a double black no way. The only thing that makes it a black is the exposure. There are no mandatory features on the trail. There is no very steep sections. I’ve ridden double blacks and this doesn’t come close. You need sack up my friend
