This is my project and it shows i did the right thing by giving it to DJ Projects. They have done themselves and me proud, this drive and fence are what i wanted. It had its moments not forgetting (TAF) sorry sparky trying to stretch it out. I cannot find a thing too complain about. I did not get ice cream. Once again thank you lads NOT TOO SHABBY.

Hi 👋...., Lovely catch up on a particularly wet and gloomy day. That front paving job was a cracker ...as I said it's transformed the property frontage .....the colour of the blocks are timeless ....lovely choice 👌 Dave is a such a professional ...love seeing his experience making any job look easy but we know its not ....and of course the prep and finishing work by Taff and Stevie is key to getting the finish right ....proper "team work". Moving the panel master has created plenty of storage .... Summary - another awesome weeks worth by D & J ....see you Weds gentlemen 🙏👋👌

The answer to the gate issue is to offset the hinges so materially the gate lifts or falls on opening. This requires calculating the required offset and fabricating bespoke hinges.

I was mooching about, and so happy I came across your video's. Before leaving school, (55 years ago) I wanted to be a builder, but going to see a building manager for new employment, he said NO, You can work with me in the office, as my handwriting was good. That was a mistake, So I left lasted 6 Months less than £5 per week. Never did become a builder? My dream shattered. You guys, has made that up for me, I'm hooked. :)

We used to make our own rising hinges as our farmyard was on a slope and my Dad was brilliant at making gates for sloping ground. Years later I bought a house with rising hinges on most of the doors which made for a right to the floor door when closed but cleared thick carpets as it rose above the thick room carpets. Apologies for random comment but it's late, I'm old now and I like passing on easy to implement ideas.

Hi really good video. Little tip if you have large awkward gates to do try use either a winbag or car jack it really helps and can micro adjust. I had to do a 8ft high t&g gate on my own and got me out of the mess ha. Keep up the good work

@Pls Smith surly could make a mould from the brick side maybe out of thick rubber or plaster Paris etc etc then duplicate it so it’s the same on both sides then knock um out to suppliers I feel sorry for Jamie if they can achieve a double sided because that boyo would be working overtime I would take 20 6 footers and I would travel up north and collect them P.s love this channel thankyou for taking the time to bring us this amazing content great effort d&jteam

It looks very attractive and serviceable, I like the solid color pavers. But if it were mine, I would want the front panels to match the side panels with the textured gravel-boards facing in and lining up and with the others, and the fencing also facing in and at the same height as it is along the side.
