Was thinking as you & Ant were "hand hauling" all that soil, "what a pity you couldn't get the grab around to the other side of the fence" & hey presto it happens😊. Also thought it's a bit deep just for top soil only, but you know better than me. 👍

👍 101. i like that number. think the grabs look amazing in the black & white livery. Funny enough it matches my team colours. Newcastle 👍😉👍. Stevie as i was watching the gravel board wall i was thinking shame the school couldn’t give you access. these steps. hell. proper killers. then you poked next door and dropped the soil off. big shout out to the school it’s good to see others helping out. class. nice job as always

Good to see common sense prevails and you used the grab to shift the soil rather than the wheel barrow😊

When I was watching that job backing onto the school I was thinking why can’t you arrange to access the school and drop the soil over the fence - I thought maybe not allowed or no access for grab - but BOOM my idea in action! I was worried about asne’s back on that job. The fleet will look fantastic once the cabs have been (wrapped?/ graphics applied?) done. (Valley turf and topsoil let the cat out of the bag on that one). I remember that black ice job, Stevie was telling us it’s his favourite aggregate. I laughed my head off when you tried to pick up that bag from the wrong house- I could just imagine the owner saying where’s my bag gone! when he got home. 😂😂. Great video guys. Dave Birmingham.

That CAT is a 52 ton machine ,they are awesome machines. But please respect it's greatness, this is a true excavator , not some "Supermarket Own Brand" trying to think it belongs on the "Deli" counter.. Ran big CATS for years , nothing else even comes close. By the way , the paint job on your truck looks great .

Started this at 12pm, watched half of it because we had a Toby Carvery table booked, then it was the Arsenal game then the F1 Stevie, massive Lewis fan too Stevie, shame about the car so far this season 😞 but upgrades and get into Europe finger crossed 🤞 the car finds some pace anyway Iv watched it all now and, I say some big orders you had, love how you always think outside the box and think of access for the property owners always go above and beyond 👍👏! Always have said it’s not what you know it’s who you know, fair play to that owner of the house/bungalow defo saved the backs, could see it now Stevie and Ant walking back in the yard all bent over 🤦♂️🤣🤣 (sorry lads) mad how a concrete kickboard fence and some of that TOP quality top soil can really make a difference!! Happy D&J days 😁👊 roll on Wednesday now!!!!!!!!

Ever Considered putting 10mm large "penny/mud guard" washers onto the coach bolts when fixing into the spur posts? Or putting on 17mm headed plastic nut caps to prevent the bolt head from rusting incase of future removal 🧐👍

Man, you guys were working massively hard (especially for just two guys) on that school job! When I saw you saying you were going to wheel barrel in all that dirt (down that narrow passage and stairs), I was thinking you had already talked to the school and had been denied access on their land to fill over the fence. Thank goodness the customer and school sorted it out; I was afraid you'd end up breaking your ankles (or back)! good show.
@albertpartridge2194 Жыл бұрын
just a tip on health and safety, i have watched on a number of occasions that when you are delivering bags or plant that someone has to climb on and of the back of the truck, that is done by climbing up the side of the truck and again down the side would a ladder not be a better safer way of doing it.

Needs a washer. 16:40 You don't need to fill with all topsoil. It's normally too rich. Regular soil and then top 1 foot topsoil. If you want depending on the ph of the soil, you can mix both. 41:16 Put a plank on the stairs guys next time! Much easier to balance. I was going to mention putting the grab there, but you guys got it worked out.

Afternoon D&J team…. That was a god saver of a job well done to that customer I hope she got the job a bit cheaper since you quoted her for soil narrowed round the back and you didn’t have to barrow it in the end saving both time and your backs. It’s good to see Ant driving/ operating the big red I think it’s only the second time he’s been filmed in it.
Good old Jordan and Dave going the extra mile for the difficult pickup.
