Great video. One thing I wanted to address however about the stair bunker. There is a way to unseal the bunker from the outside if you get locked out. What you need to do, is instead of a full wall on the side of the square that leads to the inside of the bunker, have 2 half walls there instead, this will allow you to place a twig triangle frame from the outside to the space inside, and if you then climb into the sealed top part of the bunker you can open it with a triangle twig frame.

Dude this is awesome. I have this super strong cave base loaded with loot but I'm bored sitting in there so I built this near some monuments and I've been sitting in the bunker area and I've got Rust on in the background while I do stuff on PC. I hear shotguns, I alt tab back in and grab their shit. So good.

I find that a flame turret will also work well instead of 3 shotgun traps. It breaks the twig as soon as it starts flaming

Someone needs to do a raidbait series. It would prob need a few ppl to get one done but build bases that have no loot and are just a maze of traps, shafts corridors and doors designed to waste time and boom. I would do a lot of verticle shafts and place items so ladders can only be placed where you want them. Random sensors so they have no idea which is a real one and have some auto doors with surprises. Somewhere within the maze is a bunker entrance to the TC and a bag. If you build over a small hollow you could hide TC below "ground level". Have some backwards walls with turrets behind them on the outside. An overhang in wood with a shottie pointing down. The more it looks like it has a "weakness" the better. Fake armoured tiles faking TC locations. Build in the snow and have automated sprinklers around the base to drench attackers and make them cold (this is a thing right?). Then antagonize a big clan and see how long it takes before they realise theres no loot... With any luck they will have to foundation wipe you.

Hahaha, saw this base when I was farming my grid this morning. Luckily I'm an avid trapper and know that nothing good comes from two sloped roof pieces. Try baiting raiders with a single closed door, they're the best content.

just put them on right side of ramp not the left side you can also have another inside of were the right door is open looking at open door in case they make it in where the furnaces are you die before you even know what happened.

I've built it and so far about 3 people fell for it. Got low-mid tier loot. I think it's just not worth it for most people to rocket this base.

Also I just upgraded the walls to metal from some loot i got, and I honecombed the TC area. Might be a good idea to honeycomb the roof trap area before building the roofs. You cannot build outside those areas once the roofs are placed if I recall.

this is early game trap no one is going to be so geared , purpose of this trap is to get tons of free scrap and components from spawning nakeds and occasional guns from roaming players that come investigate noise.

It sucks that they patched the stairs, effectively ruining the bunker aspect of this trap base. Twas a 200iq design. But the "loot chute/shoot" part still works fine and is perfect for busy roads and low tier monuments.

i do think it’s a good concept but only problem is if someone tried gojng deep on you without you in the base it closes and the only way to get back in is respawn. that’s why having this as a main base probably wouldn’t be for the best. but would be fun to use near monuments

this works great but.... it has a great weakness.... if you destroy the first trap with grenade you can soft side the wall and just evade the bunker. if you go offline for a while they can raid you very cheap
