Sounds good, lol. No need 4000$ woods for good tone. Need 4000$ amp stack.

Excellent pickup... That's surprising...I can't believe that sounds so good since it's essentially a neck 🙂🙂🙂 Only thing that's a bit weird is that it doesn't have a volume control so I'd have to add one...

Do you still use this? I see it as a travel guitar but, I was looking for something to sit up in bed and just practice chord changes... Still learning and making my way through your scales course... Thank you!!

will it go out of tune sitting on your lap like that, moving the pegs?

Depends on your playing position I think. Because of certain physical problems I have, I play my Guitars in an unusual position and i knock my Anygig out of tune. Plus the balance of the instrument is wrong for me . But, it's got stainless steel frets and I think it's the same as the one Robert is playing. They did offer different choices of wood and finish. And, it was a very low price for what you got. For example the instrument including decent soft case and postage was cheaper than refretting one of my other guitars with stainless steel frets. I wear out softer frets very very quickly. So, I think that it was a reasonable buy, although not do great for me. I'm thinking of selling it as it's still looks good and works as the one in this video.

Since the body resembles a giant weird headstock, I would make a faux stryofoam body and put it on the other end.

A very nice travel guitar indeed. At a fair price. I'm just puzzled about the position of the plug for the jack. Too risky to break it, IMHO. And the tuning keys, aren't they rubbing against your body?

I think this is cool, but I don't think I could get used to not having a body there. I rest my palm/wrist on the body of the guitar, or at least my forearm on the top of the curve! They have an "armrest" but I cannot picture how it would help much. Too bad, because this thing sounds great, and the price is right!

I’m retired at 60 and do security 2 days a week. It would be cool to bring this and pick silently FOR HOURS. I could really work on scales, string bending, licks, right-hand arpeggiating practice. But I wouldn’t be able to hear myself. Anyone see a problem with this? About once an hour I walk around and check doors and stuff. I can lock it up in a room for that. Feedback?

Hi! I wonder, what minimalistic preamp would you suggest? If i have a macbook or an ipad, would an iRig be a solution? Or what else minimalistic exists such that it will not require an extra computing unit like Pc or phone? Just on its own? I remember i saw small preamps with effects that you kinda stick into guitar, and from there you can output sound directly to headphones or speakers through 3.5 jack. They come in el-guitar or acoustic or bass editions. I wanna take it to the minimal in terms of space, weight, cost. Thanks!

You didn't address the "armbone". Supposedly they come with an armrest aka armbone? Great sounding pickup though for sure.
@RobertBakerGuitar6 жыл бұрын
Yep I mention it in the video :)
@MindsetMastery756 жыл бұрын
@@RobertBakerGuitar I just rewatched the video and i still don't see you address an "armbone". I saw you talk real quick about that arm that swings out to use as a strap button. But on their site they say something about an armrest/armbone. You can't rest your arm on that arm you were addressing if its for strapping your guitar on. Im confused???
@Markle2k6 жыл бұрын
I saw it on the website. It's a real user assembly required item. You have to decide where you want it and then you drill a hole in the body...
@jeffruebens83556 жыл бұрын
You could probably add another arm that your leg would rest on (preferably for your left leg for most to be more like standing). I am looking at a cheaper, shorter child's guitar that fits in a plane overhead storage compartment. I am less concerned with the pickup quality since I am not playing for an audience.
