Really impressed with your trekking. I lived and worked and walked in Nepal 30 years ago and know what you are facing. But you deserve loads of credit for being so adventurous. When you are eating ' mitto' means delicious, 'pugyo' means enough and ' danyebad' means thank you. Well done!!

I put the video on while I was eating, and I paused for a bit a couple of times just to admire the view (like 11:20 - incredible). I thought it was a great joke to put the "lost in transit" ending screen in the middle of the video because there was no way it'd been 10 minutes yet. But it had been 15 minutes and the video was in fact ending. It's so entertaining, the time just flies by. I don't want to make any assumptions (I'm going to anyway), but I don't think you realise how great these videos are. I genuinely appreciate them, thank you. You're lovely people.

On behalf of Nepalese people and trek addicts, I would like to Heartly thank u ppl for trekking the less known “TAMANG HERITAGE TRAIL” and capturing it ❤, and I request all reading this to come to NEPAL for trekking, we have at least 16 well managed TREKS🏔🗻. Taking JEEP ride and GUIDE can make ur whole trekking experience more smooth and easy and also it well help the local communities that have suffered badly from Eq and Covid. ‘Bear Grylls’ is also now in Everest region with his family, hope u ppl will meet the legend Adventurer. And You don’t need any permit to go to MUSTANG(heaven) region, $500 permit is only for the UPPER MUSTANG.

Tom's wearing black. That's no good. Even in Europe we need to avoid black in summertime. White's the only way to avoid the sun's heat.
@leo-de9ps2 жыл бұрын
its the climbing that makes it hot because it doesnt rly get over 25 that high up even in peak summer
@ObamasTheBeast2 жыл бұрын
@@leo-de9ps Yes that's true. I went to Tibet twice and it was very strange that temperatures rose so quickly. We'd go out with heavy overcoats due to freezing temps in the morning (in July - in the Shigatse area, for example) and then be wearing our coats around the waist all day because of the heat at midday. But this summer in France when we had the eight heat-waves....I couldn't wear black clothing. It'd turn me into a sun's target immediately. Haven't you noticed that too?
@leo-de9ps2 жыл бұрын
@@ObamasTheBeast yeah that and also that around this time of the year the temperature difference throughout the day is massive in this part of the world. it could go from 25 degrees to 15 degrees in 2 hours

Tom and Iz, you are now an unofficial Nepali because of the size of that refill. Dall Bhaat is a dish that always comes with that feature (unlimited refill in all of the elements of the dish, except meat) and tourists rarely make make use of this. Nepali people believe that people should be fed until their stomachs and hearts are full. So, it would be great if you could highlight this feature in your next video as well, both as information to tourists and to highlight Nepali hospitality.

Running the trail? We used to stay in a hotel in the Austrian Alps near Mayrhofen. The husband of the couple that owned the hotel was a mountain climber who would climb in the Andes and Himalayas. One fitness exercise he would perform was running up and down a 3000m mountain (Ahorn Spitze) from the valley floor.
