Knights huge buff: The guards now chase for longer if you get a long range snipe, and the assassin can actually hit survivors from a long range snipe. Also the Knight Buff: You can ensure that the Guards never catch you. It is like saying that a killer like huntress gets a buff cause her hatchets move faster, but the nerf is that she can only aim forwards, so you can dodge every hatchet.

As simple as it is, don't forget the banner. *Usually* you do not have a chance to use it, so I'm not claiming it's his constant counter, but consider it anytime you're in a place the Knight likely won't try to chase you himself, and would prefer to flush you out. Example of when it saved me: The enclosed office next to the exit on Midwich (with a clerk's counter outside it that has a vault and breakable wall). I was injured, exit almost open, and Knight knew I was in there but hadn't broken the wall yet. He sent his guard in to get me out since he didn't want to trap himself in by the vault. I ran through the guard on spawn (they don't damage until they've placed their banner), chose to loop circles around the small table in that room, basically placing a bet that he wasn't going to come in himself, and then eventually the banner completed its chargeup, and I used its endurance to get out the exit. In my case, I would've likely been dead if the Knight came into the room since I would've been too distracted to reach the window in time, which is part of what makes it a mind game. It's a common theme with those situations that the killer generally won't want to travel all the way to a spot from which they can get "locked in". The lazy, and often effective, killers, try things to trick you to come to them.

I did notice players doing that as i was playing knight but never made the connection , always thought it was a glitch that was being exploited, i quickly noticed that all it takes is decent survivors to make the knight miserable , guards never catch anybody

The window one is clearly a bug. You can see the guards lower body disappear like it would go through the window but because its not lined up with the window the guard just walks straight on the side of the window. Then as its still on the wrong side of the window it finds the shortest path to the other side of the window.

Making guards hunt timer drop 3x faster was very stupid. If a0 good player know how manipulate the IA you will be an M1 killer for about 20 to 30s

Its really not a problem. If the guard starts a chase and then you circle around to cut off the survivor's escape path on the other side you'll only be close to the guard for maybe 1 second at most.

I think they need to make the ai 100% persistent so that you can just look at a window and make them go to it like if it’s playing fetch 😂. That said he’s overall stronger than what he used to be.

The Spirit use his power and the skill to get one hit , the knight use power and same skill to get one chase. i will say the knight need more skillful to catch survivor, because you need to one more step to catch survivor. the knight need know where survivor want to go to catch it survivor still can hear the knight power sound to counter the knight so the knight need one more step to catch it again. the knight power need looking the map some map his power like trash hard to use it； The Spirit power not looking the map. just can use it anywhere. The Spirit can just stop using power and keep chase the survivor. even fail just losing little bit time the knight fail to catch survivor will losing his power 20 +sec and need find survivor again even catch the survivor the knight just get one chase not actually "hit" and still need wait hunt over and get 10 sec cd. will that's ok. I hope 'BHVR' can make some change like this When guards start hunting, the knight can use right click to command guards running to the 'window or pallet' and holding 'window or pallet' to the hunt end. I think this will be deal with that techs(bug) not a powerful change but useful maybe can let The Carnifex have something on chase, when Carnifex chasing , the knight use right click to the pallet, Carnifex not gonna holding pallet he will destroy it

Can we just give the knight a shield at this point… They clearly cannot make the Ai or the knight fun or enjoyable for ether side. Just give him a charge that can flings hit survivors, damaging them and breaking pallets/walls. Maybe we get real spicy and the ability to instadown a survivor if they hit a downed palled or break through a wall after they get sent flying. Already he would not only be better balanced but he would be less buggy too (probably).

That knight vidoe was god awful. I thought those were bugs. They make being killer harder and harder. Bro the fact most those comments on that video are saying that's amazing. I have to bring currupt at my mmr or plan on slugging hard cuz they do gens separately there's some many technicalities to kill and every aspect of slowdown for killer hasbeen nerffed hard. Hell survivors are saying new thrill is broken when no its just anoying slowdown and only a hand full of kil,er can profit off from and evn then if survivors simply add the time killer has no perks as the paur way to many daming hexes to simply ignore nor is the slowdown to crazy just the first totem. Im more upset because survivors are just sayin killer mains just complaining our now only for of slowdown slugging im sure theyre crying enough where they might add somthing for them making things way hard as killer hardr as in were gonna rush a 1v3 instantly. After watching your video saying Leatherface could be op after his buffs, and saying Knight has been buffed, while showing the dumbest "techs"/exploits, only possible because bhvr devs are on average awful at coding, and even worse at making good decisions balance wise, being that they made one of Knight's guard ai bugs a feature, it's clear that even if you have 10k hours in a game, you can still absolutely have some braindead takes.

@@crazymack556 Okay, I see you're not a fan of Knight. Knight will rarely get free hits if he leaves guards by themselves since Jailer and Carnifex are barely faster than survivors. Assassin, being 4.4 m/s speed is the only one who stands a reasonable chance to hit survivors by himself. And yes, all of these look like dumb exploits, even the bug turned feature of guards getting "distracted" by survivors touching vaults. Idk what else to tell you, but if you think Knight being able to quickly summon a guard and how his guard ai worked before the rework was op and "playing the game for the killer" then all I can say is that you have a massive skill issue that you can't accept for some reason.

Changes definitively are taking time to get use too but I don't believe knight is weaker. I liked the PTB version a bit more but I can see the issues with it. With the live changes can't you just spam assassin all the time? Isn't that stronger?

@@crazymack556 Not really. They increased the cooldown for guards. Before it was around 3 to 6 seconds, now it's 10, so you can't use the guards as often. Tbh, the fact Assassin is the best guard because of his speed, combined with the increased cooldown, means you're best of just using him, which imo isn't good, since you're supposed to want to use all your guards. The fact that they nerfed his pincer attacks with the decay meter if close, goes counter to how you're supposed to play him, Jailer and Carnifex are not supposed to get hits by themselves, so their only use outside pincer attacks is to keep a survivor of a gen for a little while. Same with the minimum 10 meter patrol path length. The best way to use patrol paths is to combine both insta-guard drops, with medium length patrol paths and long snipes. Being unpredictable will make things much harder on survivors. Also, you have to awkwardly place a path a bit of a distance away, and then kinda loop back to yourself when you want to use a guard to make flashlight saves or decisive strike plays more dangerous for the survivors, instead of insta-droping a guard. And making a bug a feature is also the last, and pretty insane balance decision. They made a clunky mid B tier killer a slightly less clunky high C tier killer (because of partial Map of the Realm, and allowing to start your summoning closer to objects, 0.8 meters compared to the old 1.6 meters)

“Really big buff” against a solo Que Leon? Sure. Against survivors who’ve bothered spend 5 minutes or more searching for counterplay to the knight? Might as well give his sword to the survivors. Behavior took his ability to confirm hits in chase consistently and jammed a claymore in its knee with the 10 meter patrol path and 3x chase timer depletion, but didn’t bother addressing the bugs that allowed good survivors to make the guards useless without the knight, choosing to instead make them basekit. So now he struggles to use his power in chase, but it’s still not hard to completely invalidate his power out of chase.
