Learn how to cook delicious Pollock at home with this recipe taught to me by a 75-year-old Japanese street food owner. A true taste treasure!

📋 INGREDIENTS:
Mackerel 2 large carcasses
Salt pepper
flour 3 tbsp
mayonnaise 3 tbsp
mustard 1 tsp
Onion 1 pc
Carrots 1 pc
Salt
Dried dill
Dried garlic
Cherry tomatoes 100 g
Basmati rice 100 g
Turmeric
Fish, pollock 2 pcs
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Flour 4 tbsp.
Mix well
Dijon mustard 1 tsp.
Mayonnaise or high fat sour cream 3-4 tbsp.
Mix again
Leave for 15 - 20 minutes to marinade
1 big onion
1 carrot
Cherry tomatoes, 100 g
Salt to taste
Dried garlic
Dried dill
Preheated
oven at 200°C for 40-45 minutes.
1 cup rice to 2 liquids, bring water to a boil
Mix rice with vegetables
Add turmeric, 3 g
Bon appetit!
🧑🍳Cooking steps:
Cut the fish into 6 pieces, place in a bag, sprinkle with salt and pepper - mix in a closed bag. Pour in the flour and mix as well. Pour the mayonnaise and mustard into the bag and mix again in the closed bag.
Chop the onions and carrots. Place on a large baking tray, sprinkle with salt, dill and garlic. Mix with your hands. Place the marinated fish on top. Place cherry tomatoes between them. Cover the tray with moistened parchment. Bake at 200* for 40 minutes
Meanwhile, put the rice on the boil. Cook for 15 mins without a lid, then turn off the heat, cover with a lid and let stand for 15-20 mins.
Transfer the cooked fish pieces to a dish. Transfer the cooked rice to the tray with the vegetables and stir in 2 spoonfuls.
Serve the dish with the fish, rice and cherry tomatoes.
