How do you get it SOOOOO shiny 🙏
@tawanawilliams87952 ай бұрын
So the answer is still to add gel color, just distribute it more evenly?

@tawanawilliams8795 hello! Use immersiom blender. That's the trick 😊

Sugarologie has a video on this, but it basically has to do with the blender emulsifying the food coloring better into the fat of the frosting. Immersion blender works somewhat for me, but I also prefer to add a small amount of liquid lecithin. It hurts my heart to blast my meringue based frostings with the blades lol.

Ah good. Literally just made a black cake so this wouldve been good like 3 days ago 😂 personal tip. From chocolate buttercream to black. I used “coal” black gel and didnt get what I wanted and it was super dark grey when it was wet. Gave up slapped it in and well. Sucker was black as it could be. TLDR. If you think it isnt the colour. Spread a little out thinly and watch it dry. Cause it may be that actual colour

Did you just use black to get that black?
@cakesandallbykc402 Жыл бұрын
I started with black cocoa powder but not too much. Then just regular black from Chefmaster. But i used an immersion blender to get this deep color 🤩 didnt need to use too much food color. 😁

Sorry but I've tried this one before and my butter cream was damaged and runny
@cakesandallbykc402Ай бұрын
@daranurlaila hi! Sorry that happened! Perhaps it's too hot where you are? Don't overdo the immersion blender either. The immersion blender will break down the buttercream for sure so make sure it's not already very soft and overmixed when you start with the blender.
