I think the Dark pipe troll was one of the best setup trolls ever. You don't realize it the entire level... then you have a pipe appear out of nowhere, to realize it was a dark subworld the whole time. So good

I knew it was a dark level the second I saw the immense amount of stars and POWs in the subworld, however I absolutely did NOT see that pipe comming! They placed it perfectly so that even though I was suspecting a dark level troll eventually, I never expected it there, because the whole room seemed lit up by POWs just like the previous ones and I didn't see the blindspot they created. And then the super low IQ disrespect pit + kaizo just afterwards were amazing. It's the last thing you'd expect after witnessing such a masterfully crafted troll with the pipe.

That thing in the thumbnail is Weird Frog Mario. If you knock on a door in the editor Weird Mario will open it and sometimes he has a random power up from whatever game style you're currently using. If you quickly save the level you can catch him in the thumbnail. In NSMBU sometimes Luigi can appear in reference to the hidden Luigis in that game.

That is a genius use of the pows in the one room. The Pipe and track was there the entire time, the reason that it couldn't be seen is the room was a Dark Level room and the pows are lighting up everything around them.

I *would* say that that's one of the things about intentionally getting the safety coin early, but that's not quite true - it's literally the *only* thing about intentionally getting it early. :-) You got 5 subs out of it, so I get it - I just don't get being surprised by the realization of it later, rather than just expecting the inevitability of it happening at some point. (Especially in a troll level, where they're likely to make sure to punish the player for getting it early, and thus usually not put red coins at the end their sections.)
