Those chemical warfare attacks were risky, grey could've moved their army and your card would go to waste

I'll try to be more careful next time, thanks for the insight! Though, the grey player was trying to hold North America, so at 8:15 it would have been unlikely for him to move out from Alaska? (Still learning the game, so please explain if there's a flaw in my logic)

That is the "You're a Mercenary" objective... and mercenaries are hired by nearly every nation... so you/they are in many war zones... hence the "you're in every continent".
