Just adding to that…between the straight up X-rated lyrics of his group 2 Live Crew and his solo career with his wild stage shows featuring his “Luke Dancers”….he single-handedly brought strip club culture out of the darkness and put it in the mainstream. In some ways, he’s the genesis of a lot of the Hip-Hop that is popular now (particularly the stripper-turned-rapper vibe).
@Fluer-de-Lis10 ай бұрын
He also had an adult show that came on after dark called Luke’s peep show where a lot of celebrities went on there doing wild stuff with the dancers. Actual s e x acts . I had the unlocked black cable box and as a teen I couldn’t wait until 10 pm came and that came on

You asked about who #LUKE is, he's a pioneer in the music industry. He's the reason the whole country knows about Miami base. His parties and shows were legendary because he featured dancers (exotic dancers) on stage. he's a huge deal because he fought plenty of court battles on censorship and is the reason many artists enjoy the freedom of expression permitted today. Personally, I feel that his music was indicative of the culture at the time which, in my opinion was a "rape" culture

First and foremost thank you for producing a reaction to The Players Club you did not have to do but you went ahead anyway. Yes there was harsh realities presented throughout the entire movie. I'm not going to go through everybody but since Diamond was telling her story I think things turned out good for her in the end I know she got a few raw deals throughout the movie you can tell that repressed memory of being sexually assaulted by Ronnie (at some point between years 1-3 which was not further explored) was why she was so hard on Ebony. Then when Myron was stalking her soon as she got inside her house discovered her cousin has slept with her ex. I know that was an emotional charged scene but she's lucky those bullets didn't hit anyone or should be narrating her story from prison. She hated that stripping job she was just trying to hustle hard and be done with it by graduation. And it all comes down with a law rocket!

“What is so appealing about the strip club?” Mannn lemme tell you Nothing. For the average dude you kinda want to go to the strip club when you’re young and then after that first time you’re kinda just like “welp that was mid” and never go back. The only ones who really CONSTANTLY go there are those who have the money to spend and try and spend it on the women to try and appeal to them, banking on the small chance they can probably “get to know them” a bit more. Sometimes dudes go there cuz a friend wants to go there or someone for some reason have a party there. Hell, sometimes a group of guys will get drunk and while you’re out partying the thought of going to the strip club gets into your head and you all go. But all in all, a regular guy finds no real appeal in going to the strip club after the first time or the second time. If you do go after that then its more so because of other reasons, not because you “love the strip club”.

Baby girl, you don't have to explain yourself to anyone here in regards to how you sound, how you feel or otherwise. When you acknowledge post by "Haters", that's exactly what they want. If someone doesn't like you, or how you present your content, they can leave, no one is forced to watch anyone. It's OK to listen to constructive criticism and want to do better, as that's how you grow your channel, but don't feed the trolls, as then they grow, it's best to ignore them. I'm 52 and grew up in South Central, so it's not much I haven't seen, and this movie was pretty tame all things considered, I think Tarantino has much more vulgar and questionable content than the "Players Club". Outside of some T&A and language I've heard since the crib, it wasn't bad at all, a solid movie overall and Lisa Raye was for sure a highlight.
