It allows for a 2D drawing to be transformed into a 3D puppet. This isn't very impressive for 3D animation, the puppets don't work well in 3D space, but it opens the doors for extremely easy 2D animation. It's very user-friendly too, especially compared to other animation platforms people have started their animation careers on like Flash. Let me put it this way. Imagine you have a kid who is interested in making animations. Sit them down in front of this and they can figure out how to play with the puppet to make it move. Sit them down in front of Adobe Flash and they'll be lucky if they can figure out anything. Anyone can use software like this to make unique animations easily.

I get it, you want to have fun, but take your responsibilities seriously. I imagine you guys have not worked a day in your life, or lived on your own. Probably not even close. I'm not here to bash you or bring you down, or whatever, but I'm only trying to show you that taking your future seriously and not putting things off, is the only way to go about life. Your future is like a tree. It has to be planted 20 years ago to be a tree today, right? Enjoy and have fun, because childhood doesn't last forever, but plan for your future because no one else will. No one else cares if you make it. Believe me, I am well into my adult years. I only regret wasting too much time instead of planning for my future. This is the only wisdom I can give you. This has been around since the 80ies. In computer graphics and game development we call it Free-form deformation. It's a way to deform sprites or other images/models based on control points, usually along a spline or other type of curvature. I actually commented a possible short when thinking about the possibilities of the program....i'll paste my comment below. I hope you like this idea: i kinda almost wonder if this could be used in presentations for things such as engines, like all the moving parts. For example pistons, crank shaft, cam shaft, pulleys, gears and belts, or if maybe you could say....create a scene where a man and a woman are driving in a car, it starts very cartoonishly coughing and bouncing (like in old merrie melodies films) and sputters to a stop, the man walks over to open the hood and the engine jumps out and bounces out of sight (exit stage right). I think at the very least it would be AT LEAST mildly amusing to outrageously hilarious to see the outcome in such an unrefined program. No doubt it would be wonky, but I think that kind of lends to the beauty of it. Anyway, I'm sure whatever everyone comes up with, or what you come up with Jazza, will be fantastic. Happy drawing!

It has great potential but clearly requires more refinement. Such as (but not limited too) 1) adjusting areas to inflate more or less to 'sculpt' the for better 2) adding rigid internal 'skeletal structures' 3) having a timeline and pacing abilities 4) abilities to adjust colours and textures after the initial model is inflated 5) more individual animatable elements (such as eye blink, etc).
