Some of the class balances are slightly different as well. In the previous video, the dawn warrior only had its true sight nerfed, but in the current patch they actually buffed several skills of the Dawn the warrior! Love the video!

Not gonna lie, would've easily been the GOAT update if there was another mastery / origin passive or skill that came along with it. The Shade and Aran remasters are neat in theory but sadly it wasn't well received, hope Nexon takes the criticisms of this update seriously and come up with a banger for their Winter showcase. Thankfully Inkwell and the team decided to cook up some fun looking server exclusive stuff to be excited about, and the QoL is some of the best shit I've seen in years. The future of GMS is looking bright. Wouldn't be surprised if this server becomes the objectively better service to play over KMS (IMO, it already is.)

@PotKun yeah, kinda sad. Only thing made Bishops "op" (everyone elses opinion) was the benefits the class brought to a party play (just like clerics did old days). But they did buff some of the solo resources and I have been mostly playing with my wife so it is ok.

Bishop solo damage should be buffed now, and duos shouldn't see too much of a FD % decrease as 6 member parties. As a Bishop main, I'm excited for this change. Even in 6 member parties though, you still give plenty of support if you know how. Just a little disappointed in the removal of debuffs some of the moves gave.

I started playing MS again part way through the last update. So I missed a lot of the event stuff. I am excited to be doing an update straight from jump. This one looks really good too. Will be especially helpful for my newer account to have those hyperburns too. The monster park change is really nice as someone who only ever did it twice per day. Now I only need to do it once. the character you burn (tera, mega, hyper) will give you +2 lvls on that character you burned only. so you go from lvl 10 >13 >16 etc. You can also burn existing character like i hyper burned my corsair from 225-250. bit wasteful of the hyper burn but i wanted the boosts on main. Its all your choice, we get two hyper burns

So this is overall a nerf to nlomien/akechi mules, and you can't sell lower boss crystals on main if you've not created/play 15 mules. That is a huge negative imo

It’s not as good for early game players, but overall I feel the system is better only if they increase the price of higher end crystals too. If they don’t do that, then it’s a nerf across the board. I think it’s good to feel more rewarded from funding your characters more. The further you get into the game, the more mesos you need, so your income should be higher. It’s not like you make 0 mesos early game with the change. It doesn’t make boss mules “not worth” or anything like that either.

One thing has always annoyed me about the hyper burn when you burn a existing level 200 character. The reward that you get after you hit 200 (mainly the upgraded vanishing journey symbol) seem to be skipped causing that character to have to start vanishing journey symbol at 0 while others do get rewarded at the level you're supposed to receive it at. Is there something I'm missing or is this normal? I made a bucc with intent for it to be my second main but if I can't get the lvl 7 symbol for arcana, I boarder line want to start fresh.

For burning characters, hyperburning, tera burning, I got the tera burning so its every +1 level up, you get 2? 2 for that character or towards another?, Then hyperburn is u select main and level that up or kill mobs, then get xp for 2 characters, (would you make 2 brand new characters to level up to 200+) ? Im coming back from OG ms, and barely got any characters, Only 204 hero which i enjoy more than my 200 nl. then need to create more alts for the link skills. What should i do in my scenario

for all the burning events its a 1+2, meaning every level you get on the character u select to burn, u get 2 extra levels. so if you're level 10, and burning, and you level up, instead of getting to lvl 11 you'll become lvl 13. all the way till the end of the burning (end depends on which burning type it is). For what to do, either hyperburn your hero if you really enjoy it, or if you want to main something different, hyperburn that one. Especially with terablink you'll be 200 on the other character in a matter of hours, including all job advancement quests inbetween.

The crystal update feels like a huge negative to people at my stage of the game, where I can only clear up to ngloom. I'll be missing out on about 4-5+ weekly boss crystals after the update that I otherwise would be getting today for seemingly no increase in crystal price (for those bosses). Feels bad because the mesos I get from bosses is like 80% of my weekly meso income so it'll take even longer now to get to the point where I could start benefiting from the crystal changes (assuming higher tier boss crystals get buffed)

Sounds like you needa get stronger, ctene is several weeks of gameplay of playing an hour a day, i dont think its really possible for them to balance the game around people that dont actuaIIy pIay. For everyone eIse its a pretty decent change

Finally got to beating ngloom after about 2 months, progress just isn't that fast between having to max 5th nodes, gollux, hexa, legion, etc. Sorry though, my bad for not having 8-9k legion, max 5th nodes, lot of hexa progress, etc and being able to solo ctene bosses after only about 2 months of realistically starting the game, only having time to play an hour or two max a day after work

Thats besides the point though, if the ~2b you are making off those bosses is 80% of your weekly income, you are not playing the game outside of dailies. 2b is 80% of 2.5b, and the rates for the level range im guessing you are at are ~670m/hr. Your weekly income from grinding is less than an hour worth of grinding, and the 3k kill daily takes ~12 minutes 7x a week so AT BEST you are only doing your dailies. Now lets look at grinding an hour a day, 670m*7 is ~4.7b per week, simply grinding 1 hour a day will TRIPLE your current income and also skyrocket (at least double, probably more) your frag aquisition rate, which would skyrocket your damage. As for your issues with being stronger, 8-9k legion is a long proccess that you complete passively via events, 6k is basically free with current events and gives you enough blocks to fill out most of the legion board, but this is for sure something that can take away from main progress. If you are already 6k, unless you are a class with buff duration, you will get much more value from your time if you just grind on main instead of grinding alts to 200 for 8k+ legion, if your time is that limited. Events will carry you to 8k in several months anyways. The rest of the things you mention, 5th and 6th job skills would be significantly more progressed if you actually grinded. Even 30 minutes a day for 2 months is easily enough nodes to get your hexa matrix maxed, and again daily income of frags from purely dailies is insignificant and you will progress incredibly slow without a bit of grinding.

For the title specifically you'd have to create a new shade/aran, can't burn a current shade/aran and get the title

Title is only on newly created Shade/Aran. Burning existing one won't give you it. Newly burned characters can go into Tera Blink to get to lv200 in less than 20min so its not too bad
