The cloth physics are still 30fps btw Edit: this isn't a new bug btw. PC has always had access to 60fps for Syndicate, the cloth has been locked to 30 fps since launch because cloth physics are calculated only 30 times per second. Unlike Spiderman which does it out of a stylistic choice since animated movies are usually done at 12fps, Syndicate does it because it wants to allocate computing power to other things that you'll actually notice for better performance. You likely didn't notice the cloth being 30fps until I said it. And that's exactly the point, most people don't notice it and so they can cut corners. Happens all the time in game development. This one just so happens to stand out like a sore thumb once someone points it out.

@@fire-typhoon123 Oh I agree the social stealth was alright and I liked how the top hat and the hood impacted it but I would rather have the option not to crouch with the hood up just because it would feel more like the older games and I think the top hat and lack of hood would be better for the sneak mode rather than the default.

@@kevinportiz971 facts. They could have done it last year when they fixed the sky glitch in ac syndicate on ps5 but obviously they had no intention then to do a 60 fps patch for it. Now that literally no one is interested in their upcoming AC game they're doing this to make us sort of forget about the whole AC Shadows fiasco. And they are also remaking AC4 and they will release it before AC Hexe cuz that game is another disaster waiting to happen. Here's hoping they remaster or patch unity cuz that's the one fans asked for.

Not really, in my opinion they are quite objectively among the worst episodes in the franchise, but the difference is just that it doesn’t mean they are bad still I like them both, I got hundreds of hours on both, but they are still my least favorite episodes So are they “underrated”, or just not as good as the other episodes? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe because you can’t even jump in the game. Parkour is non existent and only relies on the grappling hook the tone of the story matches the game terribly the writing can be cringey the entire story is just a downgrade compared to unity the combat is terrible and a massive downgrade compared to unity. The update I am waiting for is the ability to be wearing a proper suit because there is nothing more awful than walking through a lovely simulation of the beautiful Victorian London surrounded by well dressed Victorian gentleman while looking like a piece of scum I don’t even care how much it costs let’s say £100,000 or 250,000 if I need to place several days for it I’ll be willing to do thatI would even do it as a real money purchase for I don’t know 20 bucks because it was completely changed the whole feeling of the game.

For a setting with as much potential as this one, the execution was sloppy and the game was overall forgettable and mundane. Why Ubisoft think it's a good idea to re-tread the dual-character system is beyond me. It encourages the incorrect notion that you have to play the game in a specific way by separating key mechanics into different characters. Shadows, depending on whether you can stick as your preferred character, will probably suffer because of this.

The majority of gamers that pick up and play and don’t pay attention to video game media couldn’t care less about 60fps, let alone know what it is. Never liked 60; it just makes everything look as though it’s moving too fast. I’ll take fidelity mode any day of the week. Plus 60 reduces the graphical detail. No thanks.

​@@edacawesome7389 Hey bud, if you want to have a hood on, go to the edge of the map on the river, wait for an enemy ship, get on, get detected(with hood on), go to the tip of the ship, let the npc follow you, then let him hit you while standing as you wait for the edge of the map, when he hits you and the map resets you inside the map, you will have the hood on. Hope this helps.
