This way, you can have a whole variety of competitors and you can almost never guess just who’s going to win. At this leg of the series, which hopefully offers a valid reason to proceed in the future, by the time we crown a winner off this match we’ll nearly have half the competitors set for the champion’s rumble (That is of course if we don’t forget last season’s winner of the champion’s rumble). In the end, only the very best is going to compete in the biggest match of the season and as of now with only half the spots left everyone’s running out of time. Luckily, the winner tonight has nothing to fret about… Rick Martel… you may know this Quebec star as a member of Strike Force and still others remember him for the time he performed as ‘The Model’ proving how a man can fight the good fight and still look good. We’ve seen Martel competing for a slot in the champion’s rumble before, and if I’m not mistaken, he’s had success prior to this match-up. But right now, we look to the future of this season, and with Martel’s victory that chalks up yet another professional wrestler competing for a chance to be a champion. Usually when it comes to these gimmick wrestlers, they’re very entertaining as characters but realistically we can’t expect them to achieve main event status. However, this victory demonstrates that surprises are a plenty in these rumbles and now we can only hope he can pull off the biggest win of his Ricky J. career. Now who was my MVP of this Random rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers: Of the thirty men featured in this rumble, only ‘fourteen’ competitors secured the most eliminations. The highest count of the night reached ‘6’ eliminations, which is five points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination. I give the Golden MVP Award for ‘coolest’ performance to: Mr. Spock Now you may not know this, but I follow this CAW league on KZbin SCAW. Few years ago, Mr. Spock and Captain Kirk were members of that roster. They weren’t entirely successful, but they tried to hold their own against the roster. To see Mr. Spock, to see him secure this number of eliminations during the course of this match, no doubt tons of Star Trek fans would be happy with this performance. Had he not been eliminated by a ‘muppet’ during this bout, I would bet Spock could’ve gone all the way. Still, could’ve been worse. He could’ve been eliminated by an Ewok, and he’d never hear the end of that. The nominees for the Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance are: Chris Jericho Road Warrior Animal While the late Animal’s career in the WWE went downhill after he threw down the ‘Road Warrior’ gimmick with some failed motor-biker gimmick, for me the worst performance between the two nominees happens to be the first eliminated competitor… Chris Jericho. A man who many fans say had the greatest WWE debut in the company’s history, one of the most famous Grand Slam Champions, and now has an impressive run in AEW. So… what happened? How did he get a lucky number seven slot and still get eliminated so early? That would be like if he was in a rumble that included Fandango, and Fandango eliminates him thereby denying him a chance of being a WWE Champion… that, or he could’ve been eliminated by Danhausen (Who didn’t have a great performance in the rumble himself). Still… everyone has their bad nights, and Jericho happened to have the worst of it. At the halfway mark, there are only fifteen matches remaining before this season ends (But hopefully it won’t be the last). Will the professional wrestlers build the momentum off the Model’s victory? Can these matches prove to be anymore random? Will Canada reign supreme in this rumble series? But the biggest question of them all: Who’s next?

The only recognition Lex Luger got in WWE was when he body slammed Yokozuna on board the U.S.S. Intrepid, and co-winning the 94' rumble with Bret Hart. Buddy, I'm sorry if you are feeling this thread of mine is criticizing your work. It's really not what I'm about. I'll state right here and now that your contributions to Ricky's videos have been tremendous and an important part of helping that channel go to the heights it has reached. And I'm sorry about whatever is going on with your life. No details are needed, just know that I wish you the best... This thing of mine just got its start in this season 7's first episode, where Ricky pulled the 30 most downloaded creations from the creation zone, back when the game just came out and the pickings were slim. The moment I saw Christian walk in at number 2 I thought "THIS is the most downloaded Christian out there? Come on, there's GOT to be a better model!" I've just been keeping this going since the first video to have fun. Some people tab the MVPs, the stats, the entrants order and their performance. I thought I could tab which wrestlers appeared in Ricky's Rumbles and might be re-introduced with a better model. Jericho in this video is the example of what I'm trying to do. He appeared in episode 1 and the model was not that good. Now he came out in this video and it's right on the money! I'm trying to plant the seed for a Rumble where 30 of those created characters are re-introduced, and to get the idea noticed I kind of need to keep the thread alive and comment on every video. I'm not doing this as a knock on you or anyone else in particular.

If the closure is so important to you... I don't own the game, and I never made the claim that I did. I don't believe that prohibits me from noticing when a model does not look like it's supposed to, like a John Madden that was downright unrecognizable. Even Ricky pointed out about half of the entries I made on my list, between Goofy, "the fake Thundermaker", and many others, even Beetlejuice's "thickness" in this very video. Both he and I have appreciation for the creators. Obviously he congratulates them frequently, and you are top of the list. But then we can also poke fun at some of the models (a small minority of them).
