Cool Vid. Horns are for slap only .... they only add "buzz n fuzz" on overdrive and can sound synthetic other times. also need to take your snare drum out of the room when you record bass ...it was rather bothersome

Ha! As for the snare in the room, in the following video when I played the SVT2 and tc Electronic head-to-head (no pun intended), I apologized for it and removed it. I've gotten used to hearing it in the room but it bothered me too when I was editing. You just reminded me to relocate it to another room all together. Anyway, thanks for your points about the horns. I never looked at it that way.

I know P bass through an SVT is a trope, but to me it sounds, meh.

I appreciate the honest feedback. I actually had reservations about posting it because how it felt just didn’t cut through with the iPhone mic. Then recorded di but didn’t feel that it sounded more present. This is why I sat on it for weeks. I will do better.

The SVT 2 sounds good to me, but I failed to reproduce the sound I was hearing in person through this video.

I like the SVT 7 pro personally, but in the end the Orange AD200 is what I return too, I like the more prominent mids. I would totally gig with either of those though 🫡
