Honestly they should redesign the rotten legendary, there are plenty of things they could do to fix oneshotting like this: - make it not stack with dagger in the dark - nerf it by 25-30% in pvp (?) - redesign it into an assa legendary instead, much like shrouded suffocation in BFA If I know Blizzard right, they will instead of fixing the legendary simply nerf Shadowstrike itself, and completely miss the problem.

If you play with a Hunter, it becomes even less predictable, because Hunter can cast Aimed Shot while in Camouflage, with Double Shot Talent and follow it with an Arcane Shot, while the Rogue try to line his opener with the end of the Aimed Shot cast. Would be really strong and unpredictable, people will start trinketing + wall out of Sap and Freezing trap, not knowing who is the target and when the dmg is coming. So I just tried this. Couldn't find a 2nd rogue with it so I used a balance. I think I must be doing something wrong or do you need the 2nd rogue? I'm not geared only 197 ilvl but I was hitting target dummy like 30k in 1 second but on players I would get them to like 10-15% hp and they would either ice block, bubble, get sac'd by partner, etc. also I hate having vanish in the macro bc if you don't one shot you're dead. What exactly do you push? I was just hitting macro and shadow strike but then what's next? It seems very gimmicky but fun

Spoiler: unless you have really good gear (226 or 233 weapon and +220 ilvl) this wont work 90% of the time, so dont waste your time if u dont have that gear. The best way to climb rating as rogue atm is playing RMP in 3s with normal build (2 dances) and setting up plays for the mage to kill, the same goes in 2s as RM. If u dont want to be a "support" for your mage u can play rogue + healer with 1 dance build and try to force trinket on the opener and kill 1 min later duel + full kidney. Otherwise just dont bother with rogue

As someone playing wotlk on molten and now warmane for 10 years, pvp there is garbage. Thats the reason i bought shadowlands after so many years. All the classes that dont have SM are nerfed, rogues also. Eviscerate was a year ago nerfed to the ground, i do more dmg with a sinister strike in pve than with 5 combo Eviscerate. There is nothing more frustrating than full bis SM warrior and pala entering arena and literally hiting you behind a pillar because hitbox is retarded. Rogue required skill in wotlk, other classes like warrior didnt require any skill to dominate. I still play PvE there, you can even look up my videos here on channel, but PvP is garbage and warmane aint doing shit to fix it, instead they nerf melee classes that dont use shadowmourne like frost dk, a spec they literally killed because it doesnt carry SM, but unholy does, so nerf frost and buff unholy... So as a rogue main for 10 years, trust me, you won't have good time as a rogue in PvP on warmane.

SUPER low ilvl perspective on this: Let me preface this with my rogue I just leveled is 163 ilvl. with the rotten at 190, With orc racial BF added into macro I’m hitting target dummy between 30-40k with only the one shadowstrike. I’ve been 1-3 globalling anyone around 35k hp or lower, especially if I catch them with no defensives. If they’re 40k hp or more I’m still hitting them for 40-50%but depends on class. I just evasion get a few more shadowstrikes evisc MFD evisc and they’re dead. That being said yeah it’s super risky and timing/positioning has to be immaculate. And if u fuck up you’re either dead or if u get restealth you’re still absolutely worthless until at the very least shadow dance is back up.

im using this macro on a 215 heroic raid geared rogue with pvp trinket combo and i dont 1shot a 0 versa leather mate...am i doing something wrong? Oo

the pvp trinket increases your current verse by 40% so if you have 0 verse, you get 40% more of that which is still 0. even if they had 20% verse the total damage would be reduced by only 10% the raid gear may not have your base verse high enough for the pvp trinkets to make much of a difference. Do you have the 100% crit chance lego?

You're missing out on more damage by not cheap shotting the target first THEN doing the macro. Although for arena I get it since they could react to the cheap shot but for general purpose and wolrd pvp cheap shot first

the other part of the equation: it is only more as effective with other classes like moonkin, hard to use against druids, etc.

Tried this on a fresh rogue 200ilvl just upgraded 7/7 Honor gear with a 225 legendary. can confirm minimum 16k crit on plate wearer. Fucking KUDOS for figuring this out. Mental funny gameplay

i mean... european and american wow pvp highlights of the last few days already had those being shown. notably from palumor clips and double rogue in europe. but yeah. now itll be a huge problem and expect a hotfix :) its dumb and not even fun to play a 1go build

@KanKan correct. You have zero ability to fight on your own. Whatever advantage Stealth gives is gone due to having almost no survivability.

@KanKan The burst is all that matters. Mages do little damage without combustion, but they are still god-tier in the arena. Rogue has the most ridiculous CC of the game (sap, blind, kidney, cheap shot, smoke bomb, duel) besides the burst. That's what makes rogue so good

@@Tommy1977777 If you play the arena especially 2s, you'll know rogues can basically go in stealth whenever they want. They heal back to full in stealth in 10 seconds. As long as you have the evasion/ cloak or vanish, you'll never die. Rogues have more survivability than most of the specs in the game.

Wow, this can get me out of 1300cr pit where I got stuck due to the abundance of busters. I am just a simple guy with 203ilvl which is supposed to face same ilvl on the arena, not 220+ at freaking 1300cr

i got an even better version that replaces the glad trinket line with /use 14 which is what is throwing everyone off i also added cheap shot,Eviscerate,,Marked for Death,Eviscerate i added this for the beefy targets you can get the cheap shot off before shadow dance ends.my macro 100% works with any on use trinket.who knows is they nerf yours the extra evis,mfd,evis mite be needed for the damage ;loss. /cast Shadow Blades /cast Cold Blood /use 14 /cast Symbols of Death /castsequence reset=10 Shadow Dance,Vanish,Shadowstrike,Cheap Shot,Eviscerate,Marked for Death,Eviscerate
