This food has been a miracle for my Great Dane..... she started having problems digesting the expensive Science diet from the vets office, so we put her on this food.... She has lost weight, her hair is so healthy and shinny and she’s running around like a puppy again and she’s over 9 years old... Great Danes don’t live very long, so this food has been a miracle for her... I highly recommend this food.💫💫💫💫💫💫💫

I came into the house for lunch after 6hrs of field clearing and found it in out delly drawed and sliced some thinking it was a bologna loaf. Seared it in a pan, tossed it a bun with mayo; mustard; lettuce and pickle, and called it lunch. To be honest it was a bit bland, I eat jalapeno peppers raw. Went back to work. Later that night my wife was feeding the dogs and told me about how much they like the "Fresh Pet" ... Much laughter followed!

That is true, though - it does smell like something a human would eat. It does not smell like cat food at all! With four cats of different ages and nutrition needs, this food was truly the best find ever! Too bad we only came across the Freshpet just recently - we live in the heck of the woods. Definitely, on our list of recommended cat foods now!

Be careful giving this to your dog, it made my dog very sick. It gave my dog stomach problems, gastritis came up in his throat and caused his throat to close and scared it to 3mm. He could not eat at all for 2 weeks without vomiting up . Had to take him to a specialist to do a GI scope and found his throat closed to 3mm. It has cost us a lot of money to treat him. The fresh pet food was not fresh as we thought. All the company did after contacting them was nothing, our dog came close to dying.

Barry Inn you either got a bad batch, didn’t store properly , didn’t ease your pet into or didn’t realize your pet had an allergy to an ingredient. It isn’t always the food.

Compared to other pet foods this is pretty mild stuff. Simple ingredients. Your pet might have had an allergy or the food was spoiled. Sorry to hear about your dog.
