it starts small from one calling you pastor even when you are a member,,, if you are not careful it will get into your head,. whenever I minister I get praised and called pastor I immediately reject it, I say I'm not a pastor ooo. even when the church leadership say it I told them I dont want to be a pastor and I will make sure of it and it almost caused an issue, they left me alone from calling me such ,,, I still minister at times. if you are not meant to be dont be a pastor. Even Apostle Paul was a tent maker yet these days you hear someone call himself fulltime pastor,,,, mcheww. Great job sir.

Truth spoken here! No one should be in church the whole day that is not staff of the church. Only cults operate this way. Alot of african origin pentecostal churches do not put structures in place to handle administrative and the business side of things with paid staff and put that burden on church members who they deny time with their family and children and even opportunities to invest in and advance themselves. As they do this, they milk all their resources and offer very little help when they are in crisis. If you are not full time on staff in any church, manage yourself and the hours you spend on the church premises and use that time to plan for your future.

Daddy GOs (church superintendents) are just like CEOs, they are not responsible for anybody’s life. If you are not happy with whatever you are doing, get out of it and find something that will bring fulfillment in to your life. Thank you sir for liberating our people from future regrets of not using their God’s given potentials to the maximum. Must we all become full men/women of God before we serve and worship Him?Must we build churches in all the places before we serve God? We serve and worship God when we do those things that will positively impact the lives of others . We don’t need to be a full time pastor in a church before serving Him. We serve God by producing food for the weak and hungry, we worship God by taking care of the vulnerable people. Just anything that will help others because we are created in the image of God. Out of ten Christians in Nigeria, four are pastors and even the younger ones that blood are still flowing through their veins. God- will- provide men of God are what we have in Nigeria today, no jobs,why would some of them not lie, they all want to have ministries in the foreign lands. Time will tell.

I was in a Mega church in Ghana. I was serving as a shepherd. I will go on evangelism on Saturdays and organise bible studies for the souls won,same Saturday evening with my Lady Pastor. On sunday, i will mobilise the souls won and bus them to church. Right after church, there would be series of meetings till 7-9pm. When I decided to leave for home after church service around 1pm, my pastor told me that I wasn’t catching the spirit of the church. I told her, I would serve in any capacity to assit but to stay till evening was just too much and if it would create issues, I would like to excuse myself. And I did. Haven’t found a church to settle yet, but…
