Hi Greg, thank you for sharing your knowledge. It has given me a completely new perspective. I always struggled with making my notes "atomic," in Obsidian but now I’ve discovered something new: I can use all the content I have in a note as a seed with the DNA- including outgoing links. Above that is the trunk, which represents the essence of everything contained within. At the top are the links, which act as branches, and these can be further categorized. Below, in Obsidian, I automatically get backlinks - they’re like the soil that connects to this note. Now, I can organize my notes in a way that feels organic, like a tree or plants. This concept was the missing piece of the puzzle for me to structure my notes. So, thank you very much for that!

Love this metaphor. I can now see that my PKM is the forest through the "trees" to extend this even further.
