But the kat walks newest model is 800 bucks and works with quest standalone and pc support. Works with every games pretty much. So this company is not only pretty late to the party. But others less ten ten % of the game support for more that three times the cost.

KAT is not all-in-one and they are most likely in violation of Virtuix patents. Difference is night and day. You pay for what you get.
@katowimapa1555
@katowimapa1555 7 ай бұрын
@@tomburks5627 So you're saying it's Virtuix's advantage that they are pushing down your throat a 2 years old (will be 3 years old next year when the treadmill ships) Pico Neo 3 as an obligatory part of your purchase? And that you have to purchase games on their own game platform? I fail to see how this all-in-one really works for my benefit as the user in this case. So far as I know the first consumer treadmill from kat released months before virtuix announced the Omni One (which is way more similar to kat c1 than kat c1 was to the original virtuix omni from years ago. So I am pretty sure Virtuix violates KAT VR's patents as well. Probably the reason why the 2 companies are not going to legal war). Either way, it's an $999 purchase or $2600 purchase for very similar thing

Good to hear someone actually mention the Quest 2 updates that are causing a lot of users grief including pixelation in the Right Eyepiece. Meta help refuse to acknowledge the issues and their only suggestions are Factory Reset or make a return for a refurbished replacement.

@@kthanks8240 That's a 'no', dev kits are not consumer products in fact I just checked their site and I don't even seen an option to buy a dev kit. Someone from their company posted on reddit about a month ago stating that they have no plans or intentions of offering a stand alone product. I guess my only hope is that they have a plan in place to quickly pivot away from that and offer a stand alone product. The fact that they even made the choice is a bad sign in my eyes and makes it less likely I would be willing to spend money on a product they sell.
