I was the priest player in the last game. There were many misplays on both sides yes,but many well thought out plays as well. It came down to luck, I had a chameleos, as did he in the end . Him not hitting shard with chameleos or drawing was massive. I've never guessed murloc homles successfully and got it 4 times that game. his shifting shade pick into my embrace darkness pick is what gave me the murloc that in turn won the game. It was a very fun game and I am thankful it got posted ,as I do not play meta decks ever. Was interesting seeing it played from the other side for once . Good game Roffle Ps. The non renathal and bene, is due to me drawing them too many times at the wrong time. Chameleos can be bad enough draw, and is one of my fav cards ,so it was edited for those reasons to be like that

Playing Holmes later is easy to guess correctly

40:50 It was pretty much always better to use the location first, since you either draw the shard and win, or draw baku and dont risk the Chameleos anyway. Maybe it's better this way, that ending after all that madness is kind of poetic in its own right. I can't bring myself to be mad at those kind of games, whether I win or lose. Good stuff.

40:36 what what what of course you could've drawn with the location (buffing enemy minion) to get the shard in the beginning of this turn at 40:28. would've given you a 50% chance to win this, and no chameleos downside if you wiffed. sadge, but nice and fun game! thx for the content roffle :)

I think even this deck requires more concentration and calculated piloting than DMH warrior or other decks similar, this has so much you need to keep track of. Not only keeping track of all cost cards in your hand to complete the quest, while tackling all opponent minions in the least wasteful way possible, but you have galakrond to invoke, murloc holmes to crack the case, and make use of your hero power somewhat, and that's just the surface level of the plays with this not considering the disruption and prediction of the opponent's cards. This deck is fun to see roffle play but by no means do I want to play it. BIG BRAIN ROFFLE!

Does the location work on enemy minions? Couldnt roffle have buffed one of his minions for a chance to draw the shard and win?

@@akalius2376 yeah but since the opponent snap picked on the holmes it was likely they had it ao he needed to take the 50/50 if he misses then the opponent wins. If they dont have shard then Chamelos cant steal it from him if he misses. If he hits he wins the game. So the 50/50 was his best chance hard play tho to notice in the moment wild game

You know with the benefit of hindsight, should’ve went for the Hail Mary play and draw with the cathedral. I would’ve done the same tho, I wouldn’t have thought he got it and was bluffing. Super entertaining match !

I think the correct play on that last turn would be to use the cathedral on an opponent minion, purely to draw a card and have a 50/50 shot at the win. I believe the cathedral can target enemy minions but I may be wrong.

I've played quite a bit of Quest Priest with the Cathedral and can confirm you're correct, you can indeed target enemy minions with it. It's useful to do in some situations, like when you really need some draw or to bring a minion in-range of Shadow Word: Death etc

Amazing last game, BUT why didn't you use your Cathedral to draw a free card after you thought he got the shard? You had a 50/50 chance to draw it with 10 mana left to use it.

Roffle missed the 50% chance of winning at the end by not drawing first. Then he also just could have raced opponent to fatigue (which I 100% understand as that is the boring way to win). He also could have waited an extra turn to play anduin to space out cards in his deck so he wins the turn after playing the quest reward.
