This is why Messi was the nightmare of RM for decades. Just imagine Messi would have played for Spain something that Spain wanted for decades if he had played for Spain nobody could have touched him he would have won 2/3 world cups and European cups like it was nothing and could have gotten the GOAT status at the age of 25/26 years old but he choose to play for Argentina instead and take on a challenge.
