I stumbled upon this video and I'm so grateful that I did! This truly was a peak life moment that I got to experience vicariously through you. The way you described the feeling of being in that moment, surrounded by beauty and wonder, really resonated with me. It's a great reminder that life is full of unexpected moments that can take our breath away. Thank you for sharing this special moment with us. New subscriber here and definitely looking forward to see more videos.

There have been a few red sunsets during winter and once I absolutely had to get higher to see the sunset better, so I went in an inactive construction site on the top of a dirt and rocks pile. It was magical, definitely one of my peak life experiences

3:52 “… this wasn’t even supposed to get motivational, but, that’s just how it is. Anyways” LMAO That’s so true- motivation comes from like everywhere if you look to inspire. BUT YEA ok- my analysis, I think the “peak life moments” can be summed up to “feeling like the main character” in my head And in order to “feel like the main character” or have a “peak life moment”, you have to get out of your comfort zone! Often times in media, and movies and all that, depict the character being FORCED out of their comfort zone. Another thing. Your childhood is gonna be so memorable, and you may make friends, because you, at that age, feel like the main character! Every moment is a peak life moment because it’s NEW!!! So, get uncomfortable once. Stoopid. Anyways I feel like I should update. I have had one of the busiest weeks in a while. Because I joined a game jam, and I made a game in 4 days, and it was great, and I learned so much, and yea. “GMTK game jam 2024”, look that up if you don’t know what a game jam is. That KZbin thing I was working on, is not dead or anything, I’m still making the video… It’s all animated. Because I’m shy of showing my face. And recording the voice over is actually killing my introvert self LMAO but I’ll finish it! By the way, I might change my profile picture, AND my username soon, so… if I suddenly disappear, and a new person shows up with a profile picture of this cool knight helmet drawing, just know, that’s me. Thanks for reading my loooong messages

Hi, I'm writing this message around 4 am local time and i cant sleep. I've been following your videos for almost a year now. I watch your videos on the bus, at school, at home, whenever I have time. Honestly, the topics you touch on are very good. I would like to ask you a question, maybe it may sounds a little different or strange. I am 16 years old and as time progresses, I want to go back to my childhood every time. I dont want to grow up even more, I want to go back to those times when my 6-year-old self was even happier than I am now. I would rather my 6 years old watching cartoons almost all day to my teenage self and I want to experience those old feelings, that excitement for every new year. But now years are just some couple of numbers. I try to look for the good aspects of growing up, but I can't find it, as if growing up is something that is full of more responsibility and even more anxiety. Are there good things about growing up? Or is growing up actually a level end boss monster? This thoughts are driving me crazy every night and almost all day, if you have any good things about it please share with me.

Enjoy every moment. Understand that each year is a chapter in your life that you'll never experience again. You're 16. I promise in 5 years you wish you could be that age again. So appreciate where you are. Stop comparing your life to what it once was because you wont get it back and it's pointless. It only takes away from the present moment. Something that will help is doing something that would make your 6 year old self proud. Do something that will nurture your inner child. Don't let that go. Also do what you love, experience the things you want. Your age is so great because the world is still so new to you, so do something you love, and live your life. Stop comparing, comparison is the devil. Enjoy.

Hey! First of all, thank you for the answer. Honestly, I never thought about it from this point of view, once negative thoughts start, they take over everything. Now that you put it like that, growing up doesn't sound so bad. I will try to enjoy life I promise, cause why not? Life still feels complicated, but maybe the thing is that it's already. Thanks again, By the way I would also like to thank you for your videos, please keep it up because you can be sure that there will be people who will keep watching, even if it's just a little bit. At least I will keep watching :)

Loved this video, what a nice reminder! This seems like a really beautiful place, do you mind telling where exactly you are in Costa Rica? I planned to go to Mexico but Costa Rica seems like a good alternative. Also how is the language barrier there and do you have any tips for financing a long trip like this? Greetings from Germany ✌️
