6:30 Howdy Norm, you might find this helpful: your miter saw stand has a sliding extension for resting long lumber while cutting. There is a Black flip-up STOP above the flat (silver) for creating REPEATED Cuts the same length without repeated measuring. The STOP when flipped up is less stable and doesn't let the board slid easily to adjust for the cut. The Silver should be adjusted to the same plane as the Miter bed. Just say'n, that's the purpose but you may choose to use it as per your choice. The build is looking nice.

@@MountainBeaches they have been up there for like 4 straight days Last night they were there for almost 4 hours Saturday night they ripped the door off our shed center front door and blew threw the side We’ve owned the property for over 20 years and just now building this summer but have never had any issues

Hope you didn't hurt yourself, should of notched that plate for the pipe. Make your you put steel Simpson Nail plates to protect that pipe from future nails.

We used a floor Jack but didn’t think of just notching it. Good suggestion on the Simpson plate. I’ll add that tomorrow. Thx.
