UPDATE: Satisfye contacted me making a good point that I'd overlooked; "The issues you had on your Steam Deck with the fit are due to the after-market back plate and the skin. We designed this case with absolute precision in mind to be a perfect stock fit."

I totally agree with you about the cover kinda covering the bumpers. Thats why I like the skull and co because they have the bumpers exposed and easy access and it can stand on its own. Love my coyote gray grip😁

I remember not being able to choose whether to go for Skull & Co. or Satisfye for my Switch...this was about 2 years ago...the fact Skull & Co. make themselves easily available for the UK market was the final decider. Just zero point in supporting a company like Satisfye if they can't offer their products to the UK without extortionate shipping and taxes!! How hard is it to be available on Amazon? Right? Even Nitro Deck managed to be in UK distribution! 🤷🏼

I'm eyeing this case, mostly for the bigger grips, but the skull & co catches my eye more. Does that one make it easier on the hands as well, or just mimics the shape of the deck? I feel the Steam Deck on its own digs into my palms, and is very tiring.
@alt666Ай бұрын
Might have to get this as a back up to my spigen. Got it cause it matches my phone case with the carbon fiber and it fits in the case the steam deck comes with.

Would love to see this compared with the SkullnCo and Dbrand case/grips! I do feel like this was meant for larger hands though because the Steamdeck was already bulky as it is 😅
@FurNaxxYT3 ай бұрын
Honestly my hands are pretty small and I really like the grip. The deck felt kinda heavy by itself. Not sure if it's the added ergos or if the material the case is made of slips out of my hands less but it really does feel easier to hold for me

Great point on shipping/import duties. Exact same issue with Canada. $30 USD for international shipping to Canada (via DHL which SUUUUUUUUCKS) and then I just found out an additional $30 CAD for duty/tax.

I just got my Stylth Grip and i find it (at best) to be overkill for the steam deck. Ergonomically, i find that it makes the deck a little bulkier than i like (i have average to large size hands). I totally agree about not liking the plastic over the shoulder bumpers, and the high friction material feels rough in my hands and generates uncomfortable friction. I don’t like the plastic front cover -it seems likely to pop off while the case is in a bag. The one thing I do like is the rear paddle hard foam covers. They make those paddles much easier to actuate. What i really like: the stock shell and stock case of the steam deck. They’re pretty, functional and properly molded for comfort. I won’t touch my switch without its satisfye case, but the steam deck doesn’t need an extra case, IMHO.

So on the off chance this gets read, will this grip fit in the Jsaux carry case (specifically the bg0102 and without the top cover)? I have this carry case so I can use it with a strap and would rather not have to buy another carrying case if I were to get this grip.

I am in Ireland, agrred that the shipping is painfull. My switch grip was sent from Hong Kong, ended up paying mmore in shipping than the products i got. And it was for the regular switch, so i sold it after i got my Oled as it no longer fit.

Hello again. 👋 😅 I did some more research and Satisfye does state on their product pages that they are owned, operated, and designed in California (but there is no mention of manufacturing). This means that they outsource their manufacturing, which has led to delays in the past (like with their V3 ZenGrip as it was coming from Hong Kong). In their official overview video, they responded to our comment/replies mentioning that they were currently waiting for US customs to release their products to their warehouses and fulfillment centers (which are located in California and Pennsylvania from their shipping website page). I share your sentiment and eagerness to get what we, as consumers, paid for by having the product in our hands. I have seen at least 4 KZbin reviews and 1 website review of the StylthGrip. This is always apparent for companies to allow reviewers (regardless of media platforms) to review their product(s) to potentially drum up advertising and marketing to consumers while sharing their own experiences and opinions of what it is that they are reviewing. However, all the processes involved (that consumers have no control over) can leave some consumers feeling dejected from pre-ordering or purchasing from companies in the future. Again, I am also still waiting for my pre-order of this product bundle (as I check pretty much everyday), but these delays due to these processes are something that, sadly, nobody can really control. 😞

@lockwarren8909 My guy! I see you're back at it. I do appreciate you taking the time to research and respond. You're correct. There's not much we can do about it. I just hate watching people get their hands on it just to help out the seller or company. The ones who paid money for it have to set and wait. I've heard more from you than I have from the owner of the company. Hope you've had a great week. Thanks for keeping us informed! Enjoy life, my guy! If you get yours, feel free to let me know what you think.
@LockWarren11 ай бұрын
@@jego23allan Thank you for the response. I do agree with your points that consumers who are financially backing a product/service should be able to get what they have paid for. There is also a possibility of reviews acting as a deterrent for a product/service as well. There have been numerous occasions that I have seen where someone would mention another product/service they would rather go with or about cancelling their purchase entirely. I also wish, as you stated, that companies and/or sellers were more transparent when it comes to circumstances surrounding a product/service that does affect the end consumer. I hope you have had a great week too, and I will let you know if I get mine beforehand if anything develops with these current delays. 👍
