Hi Austin, Fender Japan just drop a new Strat, Tele and Jazzmaster Element series. you might wanna check Jazzmaster Elements.

As for the "Custom Order" description, I think the term "Special Order" would be more accurate (in some instances). My 1986 Maple Fingerboard LPC was most likely a Special Order, not a Custom Order. Great find Austin, 3-Piece Flamed Maple Neck with no Volute, very cool and Congrats.

Once again congratulations on the Artisan. It looks great . Don't know if it was exactly like Dave Davies Artisan but I can't say enough how gorgeous it is. I could only ever dream of such a fine instrument. And I don't think its gaudy. I've seen some that would m as ke it look more normal than it is. Oh and as soon as your video is over I'm searching for the Kinks Father Christmas. I used to think my traditional was a beast till I got that Greenburst Studio a couple months back. That Studio weighs 11.47 lbs which I'm not used to any guitar that weighs as much . Although when I was young in the early 70s my oldest brother had came back from the airforce with an LTD LP that felt quit heavy.

White would definitely have to be my favorite. and it figures it would have to be the most difficult one to find. but a nicely aged one with the perfect amount of yellowing. would be a bucket list guitar for me. which means I'll probably never find one. LOL

5:46 Oh wow that's my actual guitar! I'd recognise that top anywhere! It's 1978 Custom Natural I bought in 2016 from Guitarpoint, a vintage guitar shop located in Germany. I love it to bits, but the backside is very... interesting. Pleasantly surprised to see it ''featured'' in a Trogly video haha.

Cool to see someone else that's been to Guitar Point. I bought a vintage 70's-80's Höfner 500/1 from them that had been sitting there for a while. Great guys and pretty damn fair prices.

I've always been a sucker for these guitars. My first guitar teacher had one and he later ended up with all sorts of back and shoulder issues from playing 5 nights a week with one...but no pain, no gain, lol! The walnut ones are my favorite of the bunch too. So you're keeping this one?

I live vicariously through reviews of both “The Les Paul” and Artesian models, which are both so far out of my budget, but I way appreciate what went into them. Thanks Trog

Artisan is probably obtainable, but the les Paul is godtier
@stop7362 жыл бұрын
Good evening guys! Hope everyone is doing well tonight! I will say that just for myself, I’m not really in to these artisan Les Pauls that much and really it’s only because of the inlays. I’m just not a fan of those “fancy” looking inlays. But I do like other inlays that aren’t the basic kind you normally find on a Gibson or Fender even. I really like the new Ibanez TOD10, the Tim Henson model that’s an acoustic with nylon strings. I love that “tree of death” inlay and I am definitely gonna look into getting on of those sometime soon. Being a lefty that’s now playing right handed, there are SO MANY options to choose from! It’s crazy. I’m happy of course! It’s very frustrating when you’re a lefty. I’m just lucky I was just naturally ambidextrous. And it took less then a couple months to get to where I was as a lefty once I switched. I will say, these shows are a little bit cooler when you know you can possibly own what they’re reviewing on KZbin. I love checking out all the options I’ll have now! I’m already loving my JazzMaster Acoustasonic. I really like being able to play electric and acoustic with the same guitar, that is something I appreciate more then I thought I would. And it really does make me sound way better then I am. I like the Shawbucker in it alot! It’s my first humbucker and I definitely feel and hear the difference between that and my old Tele of course. Have a good night gentlemen! Another good show Mr. Trogly!!

I have a 1980 LP standard with the original case, which I have never seen on this show, it is an abs light brown full size square case with a Gibson label and a form fitted interior with two pockets, great case though mine saw too many gigs and has been retired for an skb case due to several cracks I am still waiting to see it here it must be uncommon.

I've never been a fan of the Artisan. A little too much for my style and taste. I can't do 3 pickup guitars because I constantly hit the middle pickup and can always hear a tap through my amp. Also a bit too gaudy for my taste. But saying that, I can appreciate them for what they are. Super fancy and intricate pieces of art. Great find Austin. It will make a fine addition to the museum.

The comment about players that only prefer humbuckers over single-coil puts me in mind of the unboxing video uploaded by Guitar MAX, featuring a beginner-grade Sawtooth model modeled on the Strat. Max does a first-rate job as not losing girth when he switches between H-H, H-S-H, H-S-S and S-S-S. It was thanks to this Channel that I have been able to partake of how the bridge and middle humbuckers on a model like this LP Artisan sound. I was afraid I wouldn't like it. It essentially amounts to being just a chunkier version of the same combination on a Stratocaster. Wouldn't mind knowing if that's what I was hearing on two of my favorite tracks from the 70s, "Dialogue" by Chicago and "I Wouldn't Want to Be like Ypu" by the Alan Parsons Project.
