To be honest I'm glad that Opaline is finally defeated and gone forever because she's way too evil for me as she only cares more about her selfish goal, never really understand or care the value of friendship like Sunny and her friends do in this whole series. I'm glad that Misty had finally stand up to Opaline while cronfronting as she finally knows now ( back in Chapter 4) that Opaline never really care for her at all since she's only used Misty and have no intention of giving her a Cutie Mark in the first place.

I am glad that you enjoyed chapter 6 unlike the analysis community who can't watch anything related to g5 without whining and complaining I know it's not perfect but it's getting ridiculous that they always focus on the flaws and ignore the positive side.

I have three main reasons why I think a lot of analysts dislike G5. 1.) MLP G5 is inherently different from G4. Like I said in the video, it's kinda dumb to assume G5 is going to be more of G4, when G4 wasn't more of G3, and so on. Sitting down to watch G5 with the impression that it's not G4 is going to always turn out negative, and people end up nit picking G5 apart a lot more than if they were to just watch it with an open mind. 2.) The G5 movie set up G5 to be a lot about exploration and adventure, uncovering what happened between G4 and G5. Unfortunately, we didn't get that. And although what we did get wasn't exactly bad, at least not in the end, a lot of analysts were expecting G5 to be exploration and adventure, and were solely disappointed when it wasn't that. 3.) A lot of the story issues can be boiled down to Discovery Family owning Season 5 of G4 and onwards. Hasbro actually only owns Seasons 1-4 and Equestria Girls. (that's why MLP only has Seasons 1-4 on netflix.) If the story writers wanted to bring back an old character, like Moon Dancer, Starlight Glimmer, or anypony else, Hasbro has to fork over a fee to Discovery Family. And that's annoying, because the movie set it up for G5 to explore G4, but ended up not being able to use any of G4. That's also why I think they brought back the Rainbow of Light from G1 instead of something like the Elements of Harmony. Better to avoid copyright issues all together than to skirt around the edges, because the Elements were used in later seasons. An entire character was named Harmony, lol. I think if everybody were to just ignore the fact the movie set up G5 to be about exploring G4, the pony world would be a better place. This is probably all I'll be saying about the wider, analysts community, because I like to keep negativity out of my videos.

I think both sides have their points. BUT! I think one of another main reason why a lot of folk are disliking g5 is because In my OPINION, that we’re perhaps tuned to the complexity of g4 and carrying it over to g5. Which now I realize is similar to point 1 @cxcd said 😅

@@Cxcd I honestly think it is the third reason you gave the most. Why make an MLP series based in the same universe as G4, if the company doesn't even own all the seasons of G4? So, to compensate, they're completely changing the lore built up for nine seasons in G4 since they don't own the rest of the seasons to explore what else "happened" with Twilight and everything in the new show that's supposed to be in the same universe. Especially since the movie built up this idea that the new ponies were going to explore the secrets of the past, only to have them singing and bouncing around in almost every episode. I will admit, G5 has a lot of potential, but a lot of the choices that were made, simply do not make any sense to me.

@@prettycuresoundz G5 was definately set up to explore G4, and I believe it's because when they were making the movie, they didn't have any issues with Discovery Family. But I think when they released the movie, suddenly Discovery is all "HEY, where's OUR cut of the pie??" And they had to write out a bunch. Maybe that's why the earlier chapters of G5 were so friggin janky, because they had an "ohshit" moment when upper management told them to cut out G4. I think I definately blame Discovery for G5's shortcomings. There's a lot of weirdness in G5 that doesn't make a lot of sense until you consider the angle that Discovery had tried to have their cake and eat it too.

Twilight's plan never involved taking away ponies' magic. Magic went away a few centuries after ponies separated the crystals and separated themselves. Zephyr Heights was created after the creation of crystals, so posters in the old station do not make sense unless they had magic. That said, if pony magic was fine for a while, what was up with Twilight's plan to put dragons to permanent sleep? They never specified how it helps anybody, and it doesn't make sense unless Twilight disabled dragon magic as part of her plan, for some reason. But then why dragon magic got enabled when Unity Crystals united? Dragon Stone wasn't united with anything.

Misty and Starlight are my favorite characters, now I see why, while you mentioned that Misty is like Starlight. Oh and that's okay to be wrong with theory, like this one with Starlight's return, but who cares if it was wrong - I found that theory really curious at the time this was unknown! I'm waiting for your next video as always! In my opinion, the end of chapter six confirms that sometime in the future there will be some sort of continuation of Make Your Mark, so I'm really happy! Oh and it's so good to see the person that doesn't judge the book by it's cover, tysm!

Chapter 6 was amazing, the writers really got carried away with bringing Spike back from G4. The Chapter starts off with the ponies heading to The Isle Of Scaly, they crash land in their destination, and meet Spike for the very first time. Back at Opalines Castle, Opaline has kidnapped two dragons, Lava, and Jade. She puts them under a spell so she could gain more fire power to steal the cutie marks. Meanwhile back in the dragon lands Spike offers to give Sunny, and her friends a ride along with the other dragons back to Maritime bay. Now the next two episodes mainly focus on the rise, and fall of Arcane, episode 2, Opaline goes to Maritime bay, and starts stealing the cutie marks like her plan in history right before the Mane Six, and Spike could stop her. They go to Maritime bay, and Opaline ends up stealing hitches cutie mark. Episode 3 mainly focuses on Defeating opaline, Misty decides to throw her off guard, by stealing her necklace, however Opaline finds it, and heads back to Zephyr Heights to steal Pipp, and Zipps cutie mark. Pipp offers to sing her a song, but they fail, and Opaline steals their cutie marks. Right before Opaline heads to Bridlewood misty confronts her, and tells her to stop what she's doing, but then basically like u said just steals her cutie mark. After Izzy loses her cutie mark, Sunny realizes that she's the last one. Zipp, and Pipp realize that they need everypony to be at all the together trees to power unity in order to defeat Opaline. Sunny heads to Opalines Castle to confront her, however Opaline steals her cutie mark, and therefore loses her alicorn magic. Everypony sings near the trees, and with the power of the Magic of friendship, they ultimately defeat Opaline by locking her away in a new together tree. And did you know where Opalines castle once stood, was acually the edge of Canterlot, she destroyed it with Ponyville many moons ago, along with the everfree forest. Episode 4 Secrets of starlight reminded me of the Crystal Empire from G4, I just can't help but wonder if this is the Artic North today in G5, and I noticed that Allura, her brother, and Sombra managed to destroy the Crystal Castle along with the Crystal heart, then Flurryheart manage to change the ponies breeds from Crystal ponies to Auroricorns right before she fled to Skyros with Twilight. And over time the Auroricorns re-named Crystal Empire to Starlight Ridge as a refrence to Starlight Glimmer who once visited the Empire. The Auroricorns decided to clean up the ruins of the Crystal castle, and what was left from the heart was a novacharm peice that Sunburst planted in the crystaling many moons ago. During this time Allura, and her brother Alterro were new leaders of the Artic North, long before Opaline was ever banished from Skyros. One day Allura, and her brother Alterro were playing with the novacharm, Allura manage to take it from her brother, and open a portal to Equestria, and she decides to investigate, but unfortunately she loses her brother due to her curiosity. By the time she manage to find her way back to Starlight Ridge, Alterro had already been banished from the stars by Princess Twilight, and the old mane six. The Auroricorns made a copy of the original snowflake design, and placed it in the center where the crystal castle once was.
