Thank you for your reaction and for promoting Sir Bing Crosby and V's White Christmas. We're on the same page. I was so emotional while watching the MV and listening to their heavenly vocals. Sending tight hugs your way. This is an iconic collab and as V's fan, I'll be forever grateful to the family of Sir Bing Crosby for giving V the privilege to do this dream collab with their Dad. This White Christmas collab really transports us back in time... WOW! We know V is an old soul and has been greatly influenced by the greats of the past, like Bing, and it is truly an opportunity of a lifetime that he gets to do a "duet" with one of his inspirations. Honestly, I cried so hard when I watched the video the moment it dropped last night because this is a dream come true for me and I couldn't help but think of V and Yeontan. V really devoted his solo era honoring our dear and precious Yeontan and with the recent heart-breaking news we heard this week, this collab and MV hit sooooo hard. There's not even an image of V in the 2 MVs (official vid and lyric vid) that were released... he gave all the spotlight to the two most important icons in his life - Sir Bing Crosby and Yeontan. V chose a path less traveled but I'm so proud of him for pursuing what he truly loves and equally grateful to Sir Crosby's family for trusting V so much. Hope more and more people all around the world will get to hear of this timeless masterpiece that truly deserves worldwide recognition and appreciation. Let's join hands in streaming and promoting this very precious Christmas gift from Bing and V... and Yeontan!

Let me tell you something interesting !! Bing Crosby's Family and team approached Tae for this Collab and they said that Tae is "21st Century Pop Icon"....and No doubt many Artists have covered the legendary Artist's songs but Tae is the first one in 47 years to do a Collab with him !! I am so happy and proud of Tae...Finally he is getting recognised for his music and his voice !! And the way Tae decided to put Yeontan here and make it a tribute for his baby 🤧 He really loved Tannie so much....Rest In Peace Yeontannie 🕊💜

I think Yeontan’s appearance in the video is a tribute to him since he had already passed away. Remember that although Taehyung informed us of Yeontan’s passing on December 2, it had already been a few weeks since the event. Some say that his passing was between September and October. If so, it’s possible that Yeontan’s appearance in the video is definitely a tribute. Since the video is animated, they didn’t have to film it before Tae enlisted in the military, so the video could have been recorded after Yeontan’s passing.

I totally feel the same way about what they did with the song. White Christmas is an all time favorite and yes changing the feel of it would have been criminal. They simply updated it with Tae's modern twist from his old soul and somehow we got magic! This is so perfect and I can even begin to express how proud I am of our Winter Bear. Thank you, Tae. Thanks for this lovely reaction. The song is poignantly gorgeous… their duet heaven. It’s actually thought that Yeontan passed a couple of months ago and that Tae took a while to process it… around 8 weeks ago Tae liked and commented on an old picture on his insta of Yeontan from 2021/2022 the one that Tannie is at the ancestral rights table and he had captioned with ‘your wish is my wish’ - with the words: I miss you so so much tan-ah. In his story on insta when he shared the news he also references the fact that he didn’t know how to share the news and that he contemplated a lot on how to tell us. I believe not only he wasn’t ready but that he also didn’t want to say anything official during Jin’s solo debut. Tae is a really beautiful kind considerate soul. I think the reason he shared the news a few days ago was also to prepare ARMY so that they understood the MV and also didn’t get a shock. There was something very very very special about Tae and Tannie’s bond. Those who saw how he enriched, comforted Tae understand how much he meant to him and also when Tae said let’s make lots of memories together what he meant. He has immortalised Yeontan forever in all his works. I also really loved and appreciated how this collab came about. The Bing Crosby estate have been really lovely and gracious. And full of praise for Tae. This is the first time ever that the song is released as a duet since 1970’s. Other Artists have recorded version but none ever with Bing Crosby. It’s a once in a generation collab. So proud of Tae and his Artistry and his genuine heart for always choosing to do something meaningful with his projects and for the right reasons. Watching him through the years we have seen his mention and love and respect for Bing Crosby so the authenticity of this duet really hits harder. 💜

The great story of white Christmas is sad and depressing which is why I’ve always loved it it’s about Irving Berlins 2 week year old son who had died on Christmas Day so he wrote White Christmas which Crosby had first sung 12/25/41 you can find the og radio song this song is also the most song single in history with 50 Million Copies no one has come close to it ever and Crosby has forever been immortalized with White Christmas hope I can give some info for everyone 🎄🎁

My favorite BTS Christmas songs are Christmas Love by Jimin and Christmas Tree by V. V doesn't appear in the video for Christmas Tree because it was for a tv (?) show, so the video is of the people in the program. You can also listen to Butter and Dynamite where they changed the music to be more Christmas like.
