When I heard that he would do this song, I looked at countless other performances of it, to get more familiar with it and to understand the variations others have done. Sadly it seemed to me, that all covers were very similar and frankly quite boring. 😅 So I just couldn’t imagine how Dimash could do a more exciting version of this song. 😅 Then, when the kids appeared I was even more worried. I know he would never overpower them. But then the kids started singing and it was actually quite cute. 😊 And as soon as Dimash started singing: tears! 😭😅 The low voice! ❤ And how can someone hold back that much and still be so powerful and emotional at the same time? 🔥❤️ He just surprised me. How does he do that every single time? 😳 Well…, I’m convinced, that he’s just special. 🥰

It's been a long time! You got some catching up to do... I highly recommend checking out some Dimash originals like When I've Got You & Smoke MVs. what I love the most about this perforance is the fact that Dimash lets the kids shine, he would never overpower them even though we know he could sing this song off the charts if he wanted to.

What Dimash did in this song was impressive: He gave the kids the spotlight! He let them open the song, accommodated themselves to their limitations, led them, played a measured solo, prepared a "bed" for the children to shine and finished by tucking them in! There may be more beautiful, more technical, more touching versions... But no one can dispute that this version warms our hearts and souls through its simplicity and commitment to little ones!
