Seeing that you have a RCA converter probably means you still have the factory head unit. And that's leading to your control wire to your amp isn't put some where properly. Find your fuse panel inside the car and connect the control wire to each fuse, from there turn the key in the ignition on and off and look at your amp to see which fuse turns on and off your amp while you're turning the key and pull that fuse and insert the wire will you put the fuse back in and you're set.

That red wire for your stereo runs to the battery. Near where it connects to the battery there should be a glass fuse in the line. If you take that fuse out you won't have to worry about it what it touches.

With a proper Amp & sub setup your battery wont drain. 1. Disconnect the negative cable from your battery, run a looped 8 gauge power cable to a fuse in line from your positive terminal of your battery up to where your AMP is - Connect the positive power to your amp, Connect an 8 gauge ground cable from your amp to your car body to ground it. 2. Run RCA cables and a remote cable to your amp from your head deck/stereo so that your AMP knows when your car stereo is turned on, that should prevent your battery draining. 3. Connect your sub to the AMP. 4. Reconnect the negative cable on your battery and turn on your stereo - Your sub should now run without draining the battery. If your wiring is correct and you have issues, upgrade your battery and/or alternator. Though i have never had an issue with wiring and using a standard battery/alternator setup with a 12" sub (not the biggest, but does the job)

LANCE pop your hood your gonna find a fuse holder. Pop out the fuse and it will kill all the power going to the back. The black wire is ground you can tuck that one back under carpet. Once you take out the fuse from under the hood ( or where ever your battery is located) within 18 inches of your battery that red wire will come from positive side on the battery take fuse out throw it in the glove box put fuse holder back together and then you can throw your wires back under the carpet

If you didn't want the two wires to touch in the trunk from your sub box, you could have just removed the fuse from where the power supply was coming from the battery. Should have one if you got a good wiring kit when you had the system installed.

For the speakers go under the hood find the battery and locate the in line fuse for the speakers there should be a red wire connected to the battery follow it and you should find a big fuse. Remove it and you won't have the fear of those touching and causing a fire again.

hey Lance, the reason for gios face being red like that is due to his dog food. the food has dyes in it, and so it stains his white fur. there is products to put in his food to prevent it! such as 'angel eyes' product! hope this helps

if it pulls so many watts you may need to upgrade to a larger alternator. that is what keeps the cars battery charged and a larger one will let you have more accessories.
