Pharrell killed it with the "Double Life" song. He always has such great songs with the franchise. As for the rest of the movie, I think it was pretty fun and had lots of cool moments. I do wish though they aged the girls up a bit since we are at the 4th film, but I know the director said they don't plan to age the characters anytime soon. Regardless, I always love the fun antics these movies have and again Pharrell Williams is a musical genius with these songs. 😁😃

What makes it better is they make old villains return in a better way than Kung Fu Panda 4. No cheap plot progression in which the villains are disrespected. Just a fun scene with all of them vibing.

The ending was nothing short of incredible. Gru & Maxime covering one of my favourite songs, old characters returning like Vector, Dr Nefario & many more! Didn’t love the fact that there was so much focus on Poppy rather than the main plot, but I still enjoyed this.

The ending was epic since all the villains from past movies comeback. I wonder how Scarlett Overkill and her husband are still alive unless they're in their 90's and took pain killers or a medicine that reduces age. Gru Jr reminds me so much of Jack Jack from the incredibles. Maxine is a sore loser like Syndrome, but hilarious. This is like Despicable me and Megamind together. I hated Poppy at first, but I warmed up to her in the mid. Who was your favorite villain in the franchise ?

I hate how much critics are going so hard on this film. Sometimes films are fine the way they are and we just have to deal with the fact that they exist. No matter how much we despise them. All jokes aside, I liked this movie. Not the best, but WAY far from the worst.

I saw Despicable Me four when it was in theaters and I was so happy that they used BTS’s song dynamite in the film. I started dancing in my seat when it came on and I saw their name in the credits and I was so happy to see it. Also, there were hidden BTS Easter eggs, Fun fact dynamite was BTS’s first English single that they released when the Covid hit and it is number one today. I’m so proud to be a BTS ARMY and honestly I think the fourth one was the best one yet

Funny how we had two animated fourth installments this year that brought back villains from their past films! Despicable Me 4 was a fun movie. Flawed obviously, but it had heart to it, and it was better than the third film in my opinion.

Personally I like the third one better mainly because it introduced Gru's father because when the series first started I was starting to wonder where the father was but then the third movie answered that question in full it turns out the Gru's father used to be some sort of famous super villain and he left the family right after Gru born and ended up raising his twin brother Dru in Philadelphia but apparently he passed away because according to the movie after he left he must have died either from old age or something else but personally I don't think Robert is dead I think he just left Dru behind to fend for himself so he can continue his crimes and find a way to raise a kid who will actually grow up to be a professional villain just like him for all we know we could still be out there planning his next big scheme I think what's going to happen in Despicable Me 5 is that the fifth movie is going to begin in the AVL Maximum Security Prison and there will be a huge prison riot and all the villains from the previous movies will break out of the prison get revenge on Gru and they're being led by his father the bald Terror he wants to get revenge on his son for turning his back on villainy and he decides to do this by breaking all the villains who previously had a grudge against him out of prison and then and then use them for his master plan because personally I think we should have seen Gru's father in Despicable Me 4 cuz they mentioned him in the third movie would I have no doubt in my mind that he will appear in Despicable Me 5 along with the other villains but what do you think?

Lots of people were mixed on this film, but I didn’t care whatsoever cause this film was entertainingly fun and funny as well. Liked it more than 3 actually. Steve Carell stills exceeds always as Gru, Will Ferrell was another great villain that was priceless and interesting, the super minions in the city was hilarious to me, and the ending was priceless. Also, recommend The Fall Guy and Twisters for you later on as they’re both entertaining and fun movies with great leads . And hopeful for the same in Inside Out 2.

Can't I just enjoy Gri going to the country club or Lucy running through a supermarket because she ruined a lady's hair, or just a bunch of goofy stuff like that without having to make a big deal of how important it's not being. So what I'm saying is, glad you had fun with it.

Definitely the weakest of the mainline movies for me, i just wish they gave the characters a little more development and even a little character arcs. On top of that, i wish there was a little bit of emotion in here. But still an ok but not necessary addition to a franchise that needs to rest.
