Love the $2 bill. My mom’s mom had a “sweet shop” (small restaurant that had a counter down, one side and booths down the other with a few tables in the middle. They had a major ice cream selection - sundaes, malts, milkshakes etc - plus burgers and blue plate specials. This would have been in the 1945-1950 range. My dad and his buddies always used to go in and get cheap food and their bachelor days. My dad was a really good looking guy and my mom, who worked for her mom, had a huge crush on him. She blushed very easily, and his buddies used to try to make her blush, but he never did. He only had two suits which he sort of mixed and matched throughout the week. One day he and his buddies were there and we’re having coffee after their meal, and my dad finally got out the nerve to tease her about some thing. My mom smacked her fist down on the table, saying “oh, Don!” I accidentally hit the end of the spoon, which was hooked under the handle of the coffee mug, and it spilled coffee on him. Of course she was horrified and they were able to get rid of all of the coffee that hit his suit. The local cleaner was two doors down from the sweet shop, so my mom went down and paid for his suit to be cleaned without letting him know. And that’s how they started dating. Now… back to the $2 bill story. My grandma saved every two dollar bill that came in to the sweet shop. When my parents got engaged, she gave all of those $2 bills to my mom to help pay for her wedding dress. 😀

The other chairs look like vintage rattan…. Pricey. BTW… You can buy plastic Baseball cap forms for the washing machine. they’re kind of like cages that wrap around the hat. Air dry them after you run them through the wash and they’ll get their shape back.

I have gotten large lots of stained hats that I sprayed with vinegar and Dawn and rubbed baking soda all over and placed outside in sun until dry. I then shook off the dried baking soda and rinsed hats completely until all suds gone and used plastic shopping bags as fill to help keep form while drying. Most stains were gone and hats smelled terrific. (Works great for sweatband stains). Just be careful with cardboard bills not to soak in water but only rinse quickly.

Hey 👋🏼 Julian & Kayla, I am impressed with the storage unit! The table and chairs for the table look like they came from Florida. The funny thing is almost everyone I knew had the same dining room set back in the late 80’s early 90’s. Those were the colors and the tall lamp same thing in Florida. The black bowls are caldron bowls for Halloween 👻 witches brew. There are many nice vintage clothing in those bags that will definitely make you money! This was worth every penny you spent for the unit. I hope you make a great amount of moolah 💰. Have a fantastic week looking forward to the second part ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

Maybe you could find a local furniture flipper you could contact to pick up slightly damaged scratched wood items like a chest of drawers or small tables, you don't want to mess with, to keep them out of the landfills. Some might take larger pieces like hutches too. They love getting items they can haul away for free or for a nominal purchase price.
