I did a liquidation estate sale back in 2019 that was commission based. 2 farms, but 1 single item sold for $49k. My pay was 10%. Worked 12 hours/day for 2.5 months, selling everything I could made estate $139k. I made 25k, but after labor and expenses like 16k. I'm full-time eBay but have done 3 estate sales over the last 7 yrs.

I love these kinds of sales but boy to I bite my fingers until positive feedback is left. I had a scammer try to scam me on a small electronic once that was a few grand. They backed off after I showed proof of a lot of things. Glad this worked out for ya. What a nice pay day!

So hypothetically if it was lost. Do you think the usps would pay the insurance. The couple times I tried to file a claim they wanted proof of value via store receipt. My argument was the sold eBay price was proof of value.

Hi! I have a similar situation, I became disabled when I lost my hearing suddenly! I started selling right about the same time! I have done ok so far, but it is a lot of work and I do not have a lot of space to store things. I only have 240 items listed on eBay and 80 on Poshmark, which is another story on itself (strange system). Ben and Lavender Clothesline are my fav! Good luck!

I love watching Ben also, but if you really want to learn you need to watch Commonwealth Flipper. Every video he shows what he's sold and he keeps you updated on changes that ebay, USPS, UPS and FedEx makes. I have this sterling silver spoons of the U.S. and it's missing 3 spoons. I was going to list it for $50, but then he taught me something. He said when in doubt part it out. I've decided to sell them individually for $20 or more and sell the case. I would have never thought about doing that. Good luck

Dude God bless you for putting that in the hands of the post office.. fed ex for anything high dollar for me they are the easiest to deal with for insurance claims, PO in my experience stopped paying out claims about 2 years ago

hope with that HIGH dollar item you shipped it USPS REGISTERED MAIL , signature required, going as registered ,which is used for high dollar items is more protected and watched over as it goes thru the postal system , i know cause i'm retired from USPS. registered is safer more secure than just certified.
