Little tip when painting stuff on truck or whatever when you using newspaper to protect overspray from getting on the vehicle it doesn’t work the greatest, the paint can seep through the newspaper id recommended getting masking paper/tape off Amazon

Now you really need to clay bar that truck because you didn’t cover the truck so now the paint that was in the air is gonna stick to the truck but not enough for you to see it but it’s in the paint now

You should try some cerakote trim restorer. I did it on my 99 7.3 and it made a huge difference from the faded trim

Chase, I'm working on restoring a 2000 Sierra "shorty" in Grandpa Gold. It needs a new bed, fenders, inner/outer rockers, cab corners... But while I have the bed off, I want to give the frame rails this similar treatment. What is that acid wash stuff you used? Any tips with the rest of the resto? The truck belonged to my dad, so I cannot part with it. Thanks, bud.
