what a great device! i moved here in ozamiz with my wife and son this february. we live in the province in a house i built for us and her family. they are really nice people but speak very little english. i would love to be able to converse with them. i can only have conversations with my wife and 8 year old but still i’m glad we moved here.

Glad you could finally talk to Jane's Dad Adam. When me and my Bisayian girlfriend first started talking she would say a word that I didn't understand because she couldn't say the letter F so fence became vence funny at the time a long with other words.

Oh MAN I feel you here. Tagalog I find so hard to get my British tongue around. I also have to deal with Maguindanaoan ( Muslim Filipino) this docent even have a dictionary, and and some word are sounds.

It seems like a very good quality gadget. I could maybe do with such. In my time living in the Philippines communication is my biggest problem. I've used Google translate and my wife says it doesn't translate correctly always. I have also found that there are some things that don't have a word for it in tagalog. I don't know if the English I learnt growing up is different to the English people in Philippines learnt, cause I find they don't always understand me. Very difficult language to learn, but learning slowly.

Thanks for your opinion my friend. You can hear and see the words spoken to you which makes learning new languages easier as the words have correct meaning. It’s very similar to how you learn new languages in schools in the UK with practical practice 😊

Filipinos WRITE in English and SPEAK in Tagalog. Even our KZbin vlogs have English titles, but the dialog is in Tagalog. And politicians in Congress discuss the bills in Tagalog -- but when the President approves the LAW, it must be written only in English.
