Good effort JWalk. Great job keeping up your spirit through racing trials. Some races rock, and others you consolidate and take the good you can. You rode well- getting up to 30 from dead last in 450 Pro is outstanding. Another up- you're qualifying well into the field on well conditioned track- you can build from here. Keep going- we'll be watching and cheering you on!

It's a totally different world, but I feel you on riding B practice. I rode in the vet and women's practice at the last event and it was way nicer being one of the faster more aggressive riders vs getting your doors blown off by an A rider (or in your case, factory riders!). Good on you for finishing the first moto with no front plastics, man. Showing that grit and determination. We all understand pulling off moto 2. Gotta look out for number 1 and not take your health and head for granted! Let's finish the season strong!

@Jeff Walker, your jump out of the gate is not bad at all. You get left behind when there is traffic in front of you and you chop the throttle hard. I mean hard. If you would just go in there use your strength and pin ball and just lay the plastic (and a little metal and a little body meat, lol) into some other riders like most do... you will for sure be upfront. Your track speed is on par, it is that braking and chopping the throttle when the start gets gridlocked that is what is killing you. But you are doing your thing. Living the dream. Keep it up. W.F.O.!!!!

Seems highly unlikely to me that none of the ktm teams would have a front number plate, I guess they are not willing to help out a privateer. Easy to state that the privateers are the backbone of your sport in front of the camera's ... very disappointing ...
@bearmims67174 жыл бұрын
yeah for sure, they have parts in the trucks to build 2-3 full bikes for each rider they have. They for sure had some plates lying around. I kinda understand if they already have graphics on them for the factory guys that the wouldnt want to rip them off. But with how much money the teams make you would think they would help out anyway.

@@sharkoboyo Who mentioned free hand-outs? The clip states that no-one had spare plastics, I claim BS on that one. Help a privateer out and sell a number plate ... or don't, in which case they can spare me the hypocrisy and stop claiming "privateers are the backbone of the sport".

Jeff had the (a) line too. If that guy would have stayed on the inside line like he should have... pretty blatant when you watch it. He's a danger. No matter what reason, even by accident, which it wasn't, he should come and talk to Jeff. Say, You cut me off, so I got you back, or Sorry...

@DADSGETNDOWN4 жыл бұрын
@@robb8331 Logical stuff. We both know it, problem where do we draw that line? Jeff was ahead going for the inside corner, obvious line, the other guy, took the previous corner wide, got passed Jeff, right before the corner by cutting him off, crossing track diagonally and not taking the line he should have. Nice quick sharp inside corner. Jeff would have just missed him and stayed up.
@robb83314 жыл бұрын
@@DADSGETNDOWN rubbing is racing. was marv's pass on ac unsportsman like? i get your point & i do not want jeff or anbody to get hurt, unfortunately that is part of the allure to racing, the dangers of potential injury & or death. we do what we can to minimize those things, we can not turn racing into rona with 6ft distancing. im going to assume you are in your mid 20's- mid 30's, (which i wish i still was [now46] ) & things back in the day were a bit rougher, & all these soft rules bother me. i do not watch other sports because they've been pussified, ie: taunting penalties in football, 1st time a saw that at a superbowl party i nearly cried i was laughing so hard. again the kid beat jeff by a wheel & jeff got the worst of it, that is racing. im happy that jeff is having fun & made some points. he should be happy about that, competeing against factory equipment. just my opinion, & thanks for the bantor.

What’s your heart rate during these races? Just curious because I run 4 miles a day and mines at about 140-150. Not very high, and I’m trying to make it to Loretta’s so I figure if I can keep a decent heart rate for 30 minutes I might be able to make it if I get a little better lol

@davidmcgregor794 жыл бұрын
You need to gear down, need to run in 3rd,4th and 5th. Factory teams have special transmissions to do this, you no. Find the top speed on the track by using a lit pro then gear down till you are tapped out in 5th. This should allow you to start in 3rd which could help your starts, jmo.. ..good luck!

No front fender,,,like a mountain bike, all joking aside you were smokin during practice, but a lot of variables with that many fast guys on a national track, I have only raced a t a much slower speed against much slower guys you were in with the sharks, so overall you did pretty darn good, The speeds it takes to qualify for a national is mind blowing people who have never ridden have no idea just how few people can run that pace.
