Heartstopper is a British coming-of-age romance streaming television series developed for Netflix based on the Webtoon comic and graphic novel of the same name by Alice Oseman. It stars Kit Connor and Joe Locke, and tells the story of Charlie Spring, a gay high schooler who falls in love with tablemate Nick Nelson, while exploring the lives of Charlie's friends and Nick's.
The television rights for the series was purchased by See-Saw Films in 2019, and Netflix acquired distribution rights in 2021. Filming then occurring from April to June that year, with teasers released throughout the timeframe. It was eventually released on 22 April 2022 to critical acclaim for its tone, pacing, and acting, as well as its representation of the LGBT community.

You'll need tissues nearby for the whole of the first half of this season, I can't lie to you! Episodes 2, 3 and 4 really had me sobbing. Love your reactions so much, and can't wait to watch the rest of them!

I'm trying to think of shows I really like that don't have heartbreaking episodes (a vast majority do). I'm thinking Gravity Falls, but I haven't seen every episode yet. Darkwing Duck doesn't have heartbreaking episodes (none I remember), but occasionally has moments that tug at the heartstrings.

Tara's grades are straight 9s, not 'G' 🤣 9 is the best grade you can get. (Don't ask why it goes up to 9, instead of 10. They changed it from the usual A*-A-B-C-D system a few years back, and the new GCSE grading system makes no sense.)
