In the lane connector tool, toward the bottom left you can click "remove unsafe" and it will get rid of all the turns on an intersection considered unsafe, such as u-turns.

This is crazy! Love it :) Considering the current workplace shortage and the future plans to build a dense downtown, maybe one or two of the tiles should be a mainly abandoned rowhouse district or maybe a ghetto filled with grungier props.

For a more realistic city you will need tents under the bridges! Classic City Experience btw I love this type of video format you have established for youself. great build overall, always appreciate a port build. realistically, that cruise terminal is a bit tight for my taste though. the ships are turning so close to that rail bridge, well, just have a look what happened in baltimore. it also kinda blocks any other small vessel traffic between the river and the bay. the parking spaces for the container ships also made me chuckle a bit. if they werent in operation, they probably would just go on anchor inside the bay rather than pay for a berth dockside. what you would normally find berthed dockside are service vessels that are being used on a daily basis, tugs, water police, barges, ferries, tourist boats etc. so yours might as well be placeholders for those until we actually get some.

For the ships: - Yes, a vessel can do a 180° in position by herself, as there is one or several bow thrusters. Sad that creators don't know that, they are Finns and Finns know about building modern vessels - This is a cruise ship, but making rotations between 2 ports and doing the same role as a train. So in fact it would be more a RoRo/ car ferry vessel - It would be awesome to have 2 different kind of passenger terminals: one cruise terminal, with tourists, amount of pax based on touristic attractions, and vessel remaining moored for 24h. And one car ferry terminal, with cars and trucks loaded inside, having the same role as train, between 2 ports

9:20 Not Just Bikes disliked that! xD Btw, public transit FTW 100% of any transit scenario. I mean.. I sure do love making HUGE intersections in this game, but in real life, Public Transport ftw. It's a shame that it works kinda meh in CS2, and the lack of bikes is a huge nono. Sadge LOVING this series.

I like the way of how you are trying to combine American and European city planning. You can create a beach instead of a waterfront, something like Constanța, which has both a huge harbor and beaches on is’s shoreline with the Black Sea. You can create an artificial canal and build a downtown around it. Anyways, amazing video

8:49 maybe you could rebuild this exit in something more fancy like the exit 14 "Büderich" in Neuss, where the A52 exits on the Kevelaerer Straße. It has one huge intersection below the bridge of the highway instead of two seperate ones. I think to have something like this would be really interesting

imperatur, I noticed that when you build pathways, your always using concrete paths. You should mix it up a bit and use other natural stone or dirt paths. Especially under the powerlines. Will look more realistic.

It is not uncommon to have major employers offer a dedicated, private busline from a collecting point somewhere with lots of parking to the workplace. It's even more common for large construction projects, like the stuff that Novo is doing here in Denmark. They have fulltime busdrivers do loops to ferry all of the construction workers to and from the site, without having to deal with mass parking issues, or the traffic chaos from it when mixed with the flow of heavy vehicles.

The canal leading inland to the farmland would have water pollution issues, no? It shouldn't extend too much further past the actual industrial hub in order to not risk polluting the fertile farmland beyond. That's just me though.

Many cruise ship terminals have turning basins at one end, or both ends of the port. Check out the Port of Miami for a turning basin between the port (Dodge Island) and the actual shore. Although it's angled, it's about 1.5 times the size of a modern cruise ship to allow the ships to turn around. This allows ships that need to dock facing the wrong way (inbound) to turn around on departure, or the opposite can be true. The asset requiring room isn't completely unreasonable, therefore. From what I’ve seen, it depends on the situation. A lot of unemployment usually stems from not having enough jobs for the two lowest education levels. Solving those requires a lot of level 1 buildings I believe and city service jobs….but don’t quote me on that. So in answer to your question, yes and no.
