The game was riddled with cheaters last season. Then they brought out the universal heirloom and streamers and players were buying it up like crazy. Then this is season we got $40 for a skin and I keeping seeing them left and right. Why fix a problem when the player base is gonna play and spend money regardless.

this is what happens when you don't shut cheaters down HARD when they first appear, more people realize that they can cheat with little consequence and it just snowballs into what we have now. That and apex and its badge display system inadvertently creates a market for people willing to pay for accounts with 20 bombs and high rank badges already on them/to get boosted to these ranks on their main accounts, and those who have access to cheats are all more than happy to oblige as it makes them rich.

Happens 7 out of 10 games for me and yes whenever someone other than the person boosting gets the the kills all the bots disconnect. If you really wanna investigate stay in dropship until you’re AFK. It should be exactly half of the lobby when it happens no matter the if it’s pubs or solos.

I'm also a Day 1 player. This season has been so horrible for cheating. I legitimately can't play solo mode - literally every other player is cheating. The new 20 bomb solo badge has only made this worse. Also, I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but I feel like a get killed WAYYY more by controller players. Either that or it's players with very finely tuned aimbot. So many of the times I die, it's to someone with horrid movement, and pretty bad aim, but somehow nearly every bullet hits me. Also, Ranked feels horrible. Nearly every lobby has a team where someone has 12+ kills. How it this fun for anyone? WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THIS RANK???? I really feel like we're getting to the point where Respawn either needs to make this a controller only game, or separate the inputs. Because unless you are VERY good at the game, it's incredibly difficult to compete with even a mediocre controller player. It's interesting because the people in your matches who were using aimbot didn't have it hard locked. They weren't getting all headshots. It's like the aimbot is tuned to look normal, and it might if they weren't shooting form 700 meters away.

It’s sad to see the state of apex because like. Games in general used go be like if the other player was better than you you’d congrats them on how good they are with their talent. But modern games you can’t because it could be a cheater and you jusr feel bad when you get lit up in an unusual way. Dude I am an old guy that plays after work and I have like a .6 kdr and am still getting put in those lobbies. I straight up apologized to my 2 pred 5k/20 bomb teammates at the beginning of the game the other day. They still insisted on rezzing me everytime I went down. Made me not want to play anymore. It is one thing for me to suck but don't want to hinder others.

Even when I do know where they are I peak to shoot and immediately lose all my shields and half .y health before I can even react to get get back and I've learned not to over peak in those situations. This and overwatch are the only fps games I've ever put more than a few hours into and this one alot more and while I've improved over time I hate being the guy holding a team back. Solos have been better but even those are rough. I'd love to die from someone without a 4k or masters/pred badge for once.

I've heard that east Asia servers have a ton of bots that drop in and just jump and punch and you can rack up 20-30+ kills easily. Coincidentally, I had one of the BEST games ever today on Xbox playing solo. Didn't get the win (took 2nd) but was close to having the most kills and damage ever.

The first clip has been going on for a while and has been a huge thing specifically on Asian serves for the past four or so seasons where people will have hundreds of accounts just spam loading into games in order to load in with them, farm 20 bombs off of them and will then sell these accounts with 20 bombs already on them. You can actually load into these lobbies if you play early in the morning (server time) if you get a bit lucky, Grrt and others have recently made vids about this too and how ppl are getting in and also using it for free 20 bombs.

I been thinking about getting a modded controller or something cause of this. The people i usually play with have been playing much more than me cause i mainly play souls games and the such. But theyre usually in plat master and pred lobies. Even if its frowned upon and talked bad about theres nothing my team can do about them. I play on ps so going against pc and hackers cause lack of movement on console. Most id do is probly lower recoil and put a script on my back triggers for super jump or something if i can even do that. Make fun of me or whatever but i want to play for fun, not get beamed by people hacking or teaming

I had to uninstall it and I'm refusing to go back now. I got rinsed by a level 39 pathfinder yesterday that couldn't miss a single shot along with a few other similar games. I'm not a pro by any means but I can hold my own in most fights. The amount of times I was getting knocked after just a burst of someone's weapon was ridiculous. Had to uninstall it for my own mental and physical health. Game is broken

At the moment the cheater situation in apex is crazy. We are Pred at the moment but holding or even gaining is quiet a hard task due to at least 3 cheater teams in each ranked lobby. Killing them close range is the way to go as a 3 stack But still sometimes getting catched off guard and just loose -100 Pretty frustrating right now

I feel like season after season ranked is becoming less and less competetive. If you play in ranks like silver to diamond you’ll play against preds and masters who decay’d down to those ranks literaly every season, and then they make some change to comp where its just increases the amount of those players in ranks they dont belong in by the time the system has adjusted. Making it feel like if you belong in platinum you have a 50% chance to not go up against a player who could have competed in leage, while in silver lobbies. Add cheaters on top of that and boom, whats the dofference between ranked and pubs? Literally non.
