Trucks and larger vehicles are linked to higher pedestrian deaths due to limited visibility in front of the hood. Like an average height elementary school kid can be 20 feet in front of a truck and not be visible. Also, because they sit higher, even if you do hit an adult, the main force of the impact is going to be like chest height rather than hitting the legs where a sedan would hit, causing more damage to vital organs. I agree with Aiden that the arms race for large vehicles is stupid unless there is a genuine need for the larger vehicle. I’m in NC and the amount of jacked up trucks is ridiculous

honestly i've been adjusting to lud on twitch better than i thought. the two things i do really miss are a. being able to rewind or 2x speed to catch up to the live stream and b. vod watching feels way worse without chat included. with how late PST some of these streams are, I used to pick up where i left off the next morning, but the twitch vods seem to be getting removed and the vod channel doesn't have chat included. that said, using twitch again hasn't been as big of a downgrade as I feared!
