Hello Dom. I am gradually getting through all you videos since you started posting. Excellent work done with a good helping of humour. I particularly like the Ranalah ones as I remember my father having one in his repair garage some sixty years ago. I was about seven years old then and watching the men working on the wheeling machine and doing the panel beating etc. that was all part of the business. Brings back memories of me and my twin brother having a whale of a time playing around the place. Anyway, I've rambled on a bit so I'll leave you in peace now. Just to say keep all your good work and projects going, it's hard work but very much appreciated. Thank you.😊

Congratulatons on the 100K milestone, it's richly deserved. The J40 is an excellent platform on which to develop your wheeling and panel beating skills. That will pay dividends as you work on the Porsche. It was also good to see the mini Ranalah starting to earn its keep.

As gorgeous as they are , im not a key ring kind of guy. I do however need a couple of new hoodies. I reckon the Ranalah and Ameliorator logo's would look spectacularly good. I know merch can be a pain but every extra pound in the aero fund has to be worth it. So pleased for you for the 100k award Dom , well deserved for you and the gang , the variety of your content is key and is certainly unmissable weekly viewing for me. Funny you mention the Bodger's Ball. I just used that as an example of how folks can see value in the "hedgerow revitalization" efforts that are underway. Everyone talks about the hedges in terms of wildlife and environment, forgetting that people have been part of the equation since the very first hedgerow was planted eons ago. More importantly, the skills there, what we call the "traditional trades", mean employment for local people building local things for the local market from local materials. Even the scythes are something you can make in the community, and are provably better than using the modern string trimmers around the home. Folks thought they were doing a good thing when they turned their backs on their history and culture, not realizing they were shooting themselves in the foot. The demise of the Ranalah company follows the same pattern as the demise of so many other small industries which once dotted the landscape - folks didn't think about the 2nd Order Effects of the things they supported. As you bring one back, it makes sense to bring others back because they're all tied together. Great seeing you and John working tirelessly in the shop. A better team you couldn't ask for!
