For someone who was born in Israel and never actually lived there , it seems like the majority of Israelis are adopting a defensive approach regarding that song and are being grateful above and beyond grateful to anyone who chooses to react to that hot potato. This is what I think . Stop apologizing and be grateful for something that should've comed natural . It's a beautiful song , precisely composed and sang in the exact amount of emotions and hint to October 7th without crossing lines or stepping on someone foot .Eden is a talented performer and vocalist, one of the best this year. Israel and Israeli don't need to expect to qualify or get any support. This year is all about being there , the Horicane outside as bad as it will be is just a background noise for this country saying ' I'm here , I'm proud , I'm strong and I will not be threatened not I'll be bullied. Thank you for the reaction. I’m curious as an Israeli what you thought of the symbolism in the music video? I just want to point out, the interpretive dancing is purposefully meant to steal focus from Eden. “Someone stole the moon tonight, took my light, everything is black and white”It’s supposed to look chaotic and weird. It’s supposed to symbolise the young dancers of Nova panicking, running for their lives. This song should make you uncomfortable, should make you tear up. It’s not political to sing about loss and mourning. To tribute to those who died, those who are still fighting for life, those who are struggling to mourn in this “hurricane”.

The group of dancers when the video start, they running away, like hiding when terrorist enter the Nova music festival in the morning of October 7th, 6:40am. if you notice the video is outdoor in nature, like in Nova festival. Young Pepole that want to celebrate music and life found themself in one of the worst terror attack in the world. Imagne the dancers like those young Pepole "dancing" and need to hide and runaway, very sad and horrible.

On October 7, the Black Sabbath in which they were murdered, babies, girls, children, women, elderly men and the elderly were massacred, butchered and raped with brutality and cruelty that cannot be described by the hands of the terrorist organizations in Gaza, including Hamas and the Islamic Jihad and "non-involved citizens" who invaded the borders of Israel just because they are Jews. The truth is, the song describes the mental attack of an entire nation (Israel) that went through and is going through a deadly hurricane in our beautiful country. The tribute in the song is in memory of beautiful people who went to dance and have fun at the "Nova" nature party and over 350 were slaughtered and more than 2000 people were seriously injured. I personally don't care if we win or not, Eden conveys in the song the feelings that every Israeli citizen experiences inside. Beyond that, artistically, she has a very rare voice and a crazy song in all respects. As a former Israeli, you should know this, but thank you for the nice response to the song.

Unfortunately, it will probably happen that the people vote with a political background, but as all artists claim, music unites the world to peace, but here it is the other way around. Strange as I believe that music and art are the only things that can unite the world, but tragically, people really hate Jews and that they even defend their own country. Maybe she is suppressing her emotions. The first part of the song is very uncomfortable, goes straight to your heart and throath, with the creeps sneaking in, the heart beat, breathing... It feels to me like this "interpretive dancing" is obviously the huddled position ppl had when they were in shelters and being shot at when grouped together (on October 7th). I heard testimonials so it's engraved in my mind. And then when they dance it goes between dancing like at the nova party and then aggressive fighting vibes. so contrasting and so close to reality.
