@@gamerbear84 Although you'd think Pentious would be aware that there are both sinners & Hellborn demons that look like dinosaurs (I think in Helluva they're native to the Greed ring, but not sure on that), particularly when one of Pentagram City's strongest overlords (that he has long sought to become) is one. (And if he really is from the Victorian era, he's been in Hell for quite some time, even longer than many of the current Overlords). I think he just thinks the Egg Bois are all morons & automatically disregards most of what they say.

Alastor just casually eating a raw deer carcass is simultaneously the funniest and grossest thing. Also, Al in a swamp makes me wonder if he recreated the Louisiana area where he dumped his victims, or maybe even yoinked it straight from earth. That deer is *definitely* not native to Hell.

@@Suthek Ooooh now you have me wondering if there's a whole network of Succubus that bring in contraband (or whatever really, food, specific possessions) from the living world.... since they're some of the only ones in Hell who can easily (& legally in Hell) travel back & forth between realms. (I'm sure more highborn demons than just Stolas also have that ability).

We saw in Helluva Boss, Blitzo's sister was involved in smuggling heroine from the human world. Also several demons have magic capable of creating portals or traveling to earth, I'd imagine there's a whole set of industries based around smuggling things over. There's another possibility is simply that Alastor is capable of making the trip himself, it might help explain where he went when he vanished 7 years prior, there isn't exactly anywhere to go for sinners stuck down there. Unless idk there's a rural side of hell that sinners can go outside of the big city?

I love Zestial so much. His design, the way he speaks, and that he's voiced by the same guy who plays Ozzie. He's definitely one of my favorite characters. Also, "Respectless" is such an amazing song. The way Velvette goads Carmilla into calling her out, and then basically backs her into a corner, and makes ot pretty clear Carmilla knows something about the slain angel. Vel really is "the backbone of the V's."

Fun Fact: Alastor died while burying one of his victims because a hunter mistook him for a deer, hence the deer-like attributes to his appearance Leads one to wonder if him eating a deer carcass is some sort of petty revenge for how he died

I thought Sir Pentious would react to Frank and the news of the angels death but his response actually makes sense. It’s hell. For thousands, if not millions of years, no one has been able to kill an angel. It’s unheard of. So to Sir Pentious, killing an angel is equal to seeing an alien.

When I first watched it and carmine started singing in that old Spanish opera style, I knew exactly the style Velvette would sing in would be hip hop and it sounded even better than what I had imagined.

I like the theory that Vaggie's original backstory was going to have her be one of Carmilla's daughters, so even though that storyline was cut, they kept some nods to it by giving them so many parallels and duets and stuff

My theory is that most soldiers manifest in Hell as moth demons because most of them share the sin of Wrath. It would be nice, from a story point of view, if she was an estranged daughter, but I dunno. Carmilla’s establishing character song is about what a devoted mom she is. If they’re related, she either doesn’t know Vaggie’s in Hell, or that X over Vaggie’s eye means something really bad.

Zestial is voiced by James Monroe Iglehart. He's best known for being the Genie in the original Broadway production of Aladdin. Camilla Carmine is voiced by Daphne Rubin-Vega. I'm not as familiar with her, but she originated Mimi in Rent. Both significant talents. Hazbin Hotel has set the bar for itself pretty high, IMO. Looking forward to your reaction to episode 4.

Rubin-Vega's voice has matured really well. As a huge Rent fan, I didn't really love her voice on the original Broadway Cast Recording of Rent. She has a whine to her voice, but I feel like it wasn't used as well as she can use it now. I really like her in this role.

When Velvette said “I could eat you lot for breakfast” My only thought was “no the hell you couldn’t” think and it…we’ve only seen displays of power from Alastor, and given his apparent respect for Zestial, he’s probably stronger than him…and with how powerful we know Alastor is, he’s probably the second strongest demon in that meeting……what can Velvette do besides be an influencer?

Maybe Velvette is a secret powerhouse (jk 😂😂) But we haven’t Seen much about her powers or how she works. We have seen Val and Vox doing their stuff but not about Velv. But her calling herself „The backbone of the Vees“ maybe points to something. And she did know how to get under Carmillas skin so she seems to be more of a manipulator.

Velvette is way smarter and way more observant than people give her credit for. With one single action she was able to accurately determine that it was Carmilla who killed the Exorcist. Sure the others may be stronger but they all have weakspots to exploit and that's Velevette's biggest advantage

This episode seem to make me think on the half of Camilla, as she seems to be having some kind of theory behind her. Like how did she became a mother to two children, is Vaggie part of the family as well and what is her true goal out there. I hope the rest of season 1 cover it. 🙃 Also I have to state that we heard her being mentioned in Helluva Boss by Striker’s sniper rifle being a Blessed Weapon that was melted down by the Angelic Weapon that the Exocristinamtors used during the Extermination Day.

New theory that popped into my mind. What if the deal was.. Lilith found a way to destroy Adam and Lute (because they are assholes :P ) and God.. doesn't exisit anymore? It is a trick, orchestrated by Adam so everyone thinks it is Gods will, but he just do what HE wants.. And then Lilith get's in charge of heaven like she want (because strong, independet woman and stuff) Lucifer is killed in the war between Heaven and Hell And..Alastor getting in charge of hell then... My brother mentioned it.. Alastor must have not just a plan, but a big trumpcard up his sleeve, he won't be so confident all the time if he has not (besides his power and probably strongest of the overlords) maybe like.. the Apple of Knowledge..and he actually knows how to beat heaven. Questions over questions..

@@xXSamir44Xx see, this is what I like about this reveal! What if that crew can take out the exorcists? It’s just no one tried. What if the exorcists are low tier angels and should the overlord off them, the REAL guns come out? What if the exorcists are the big guns and once they’re off’d by the overloads Heaven is kinda screwed? Velvet and Zestial both have a good point.

I wonder if this was the beginning of that tech, if so would that mean Helluva Boss takes place later since Moxie was talking about how weapon tech changed the game for battle. Or maybe they just never attempted to use said weapons on angels. I wonder how she makes them too. My initial thought was taking angelic weapons and customizing them into something else but would that mean she has a dealer in heaven? 🤔

Exterminators blade cannot kill Charlie and 7th Deadly Sins. Maybe even 9 Ars Goetia king like Paimon. Hellborn kind like Sucubus, Imps, hellhound, Ars Goetia,... have just pardon. Lute with Adam say that she and them has pardon. Carmila Carmine from these blades is making weapons like Blessed rope or guns which Strikers has.

That is what I was saying. They can be killed but they have pardon so exterminators cannot go after them. They only killing sinners and overlords. But maybe 9 king of Ars Goetia like Paimon are more powerfull so they cannot by killed or can who know.

I don't know if i like Velvete or not, she reminds me of myself kinda, when i was 16. What is really interesting someone being like the oldest of the Overlords (Zestial) being nice to Carmilla and not following his own agenda (he probably do anyway) just like Alastor.. but i really hope so he is not the final villian by the end of the show (Guess Vivziepop mentioned in a livestream for her vision and story she like to tell she need 3 season/like 30 episodes or so..) if that's true.. lots of things can happen...

Vaggie sining and like the millitary attitude in this..and probably don't like being in charge... the theory she used to be an angel and her mom is like a Seraph (highest Angel rank) ..sending her down to kill Charlie but actually falling in love with her and she seein the extermination is the wrong way ... it starts to make sense in my head tho..but i really hope it's not like that.. Otherwise Charlie will be really really upset.. and what if when she get's her full demon form..she has like no control over it? Like Goku becoming an Oozaru and she is destroying the Hotel or something.. that won't end well..

For the ones who wants to know vaggies lore ___________________________ Vaggie was born the first daughter of her mother and father and was soon followed by three younger sisters. Her mother died from childbirth when she was very young. Growing up in the slums of El Salvador, Vaggie and her sisters were continually subjected to physical and sexual abuse by their domineering father. She loved her sisters unyieldingly, with them being the only positive things in her life, and was incredibly protective of them, trying to shield them from their father's abuse. When Vaggie was a teenager, her father forced her into underage prostitution to support their family's financial problems. At one point, Vaggie and her father got into a heated argument which led to her father assaulting her. During the assault, Vaggie fought back, which enraged her father and led him to hit her directly in the left eye with a bottle of alcohol, permanently mangling her eye. In a blind panic and unable to compose herself after what had happened, Vaggie grabbed a kitchen knife and killed her father after he continued to attack her. Unbeknownst to Vaggie, her sisters watched the entire encounter after hearing the commotion, and, having not seen what occurred prior, believed that Vaggie murdered their father. A battered and panicked Vaggie tried to explain what had happened, but her sisters were too afraid and distraught to listen to her. The authorities soon arrived and decided that Vaggie had murdered her father, and took her into custody. While in custody, an officer took the time to mock Vaggie by saying that she would never see her sisters again and that they hated her for killing their father. This left her incredibly distraught. Thinking that she would likely never see her sisters again and they would forever hate her, Vaggie took her own life that night by hanging herself, ending her tragic and short life. Upon Vaggie's demise, she found herself in Limbo while her fate was discussed intently in Heaven's Courtroom. The higher-ups in Heaven were divided on the destination for her soul, consulting Saint Peter. Advocates like Serenity argued for Vaggie's entry into Heaven, highlighting her enduring unbearable suffering for the sake of her sisters and being an otherwise kind soul dealt a bad hand in life. On the opposing side, angels like Adina called for her condemnation to Hell, citing her past as a prostitute, her suicide, and her involvement in her father's murder. Despite the initial inclination towards condemning her, Azrael, the foremost archangel in Heaven, had a seeming change of heart upon learning about Vaggie had killed her father. Admiring what he referred to as her "killing instinct," Azrael decided to welcome her into Heaven, envisioning her as a valuable addition to his Exorcist army. Upon her acceptance into Heaven, Vaggie was sent to Haven, the lowest section of Heaven to serve Azrael and repent for her sins. Vaggie was trained by Lute in the ways of angelic combat. During this time, she was also forced to pleasure the archangel and dance for his amusement whenever he demanded it, living under his thumb with the threat of expulsion still in her head. She was also relentlessly brutalized and mistreated by Lute, who had grown jealous over the lustful attraction Azrael had developed for her, going as far as to cut Vaggie's eye out to give her the "mark of a traitor". After her years of training were complete, Vaggie became an official member of the Exterminators, joining in on the annual massacre of the Pride Ring's population. Over the years, her mental health dwindled from being forced to participate in the senseless slaughter of Hell's population, as well as Azrael repeatedly putting her in humiliating situations and forcing her to lay with him. She became depressed and an empty shell of her former self, her idealistic image of Heaven shattered, becoming a slave to Azrael's will, and losing much of her passion and drive. All of this came to a head when during one Extermination, Vaggie erased a married demon couple who were defending their home, not knowing that their terrified children had been watching the whole event. After noticing the children hiding in a corner, Vaggie begged for their forgiveness and insisted that she was not a monster, but the terrified and traumatized children only screamed in fear and sadness, too distraught to even look at her. The fear in the children's eyes reminded her of her sisters' reaction to their father's death, this experience broke Vaggie. When another Exterminator entered the home and attempted to slaughter the children as well, Vaggie fiercely defended them, shouting at them to hide as she killed her teammate. Overwhelmed by everything that has transpired, Vaggie fled the house to an alleyway and emotionally broke down. When Lute happened by the distraught Vaggie, she harshly berated her for her "weakness", violently grabbing her and ordering her to continue her duties. When Vaggie retaliated and shoved Lute off of her, the head Exterminator brutally assaulted Vaggie, breaking several bones and threatening to cut her eye out, before having her court marshalled. Following the Extermination, Vaggie was forced to answer to Azrael, where she renounced her Exterminator status after he offered her forgiveness through sex. After the archangel repeated his threat to banish her from Heaven, she lashed out at her former master, furiously saying that she would rather burn in Hell than ever have to serve or pleasure him again. As punishment for her defiance, Azrael sentenced Vaggie to have her memory wiped so that she would be forced to serve and pleasure him forever. Vaggie fervently objected and pleaded for Azrael's pardon, begging him not to erase her memories. Surprisingly, Azrael and Lute acquiesced, granting Vaggie a second opportunity on the condition that she undertook an exceedingly challenging task. They assigned her a suicide mission of journeying to Hell and assassinating the Princess of Hell, Charlie Magne. Despite being aware of the perilous nature of the assignment and that Azrael did not expect her to return alive, Vaggie accepted the task, driven by desperation. Descending into Hell, Vaggie reached the Happy Hotel, Charlie's ambitious undertaking. Assuming the guise of a sinner, aided by Azrael and Lute communicating through comms tied to her Exorcist mask, Vaggie used the masks' cloaking technology to appear more demonic. Armed with an archangelic dagger, her objective was to spend the night and silently eliminate the princess in her slumber. Charlie's fervent speech caught Vaggie off guard, revealing the depth of Charlie's commitment to her people. However, it also left Vaggie with a sense of disquiet, recognizing that the current leadership in Heaven might vehemently oppose Charlie's radical ideas. As the night unfolded, Vaggie found herself unable to carry out the mission to kill Charlie and instead chose to extend her stay at the Happy Hotel, growing closer to the princess. During her time in Hell, Vaggie fell in love with a sinner named Velvette, and the two shared a life together. However, Velvette harbored dreams of becoming a popular sinfluencer, a desire that Vaggie tried to counter by emphasizing the value of their relationship. Despite Vaggie pouring her love into the relationship, Velvette ultimately abandoned her after being recruited by Vox to become the Overlord's ward, leaving Vaggie heartbroken and alone once again. On the night of Velvette's departure, Charlie gifted Vaggie a pink bowtie for her hair. This simple yet meaningful gesture marked the first time Vaggie had ever received a gift from anybody, bringing her to tears. Overwhelmed with emotion, she embraced Charlie tightly, seeking comfort in the unexpected warmth of the princess's gesture. Following Charlie's departure, Vaggie's mask inexplicably projected the images of Azrael and Lute, both visibly angered and demanding an explanation for why the Princess of Hell remained alive despite their orders. Undeterred, Vaggie bravely confronted her former superiors, renouncing her Exorcist allegiance and boldly reiterating to Azrael that she would rather burn in Hell than serve him any longer. Empowered by her newfound resolve, she decisively ended the communication by utilizing the archangelic dagger to destroy her Exorcist mask, leaving Azrael to seethe in his sanctum in a state of furious disbelief. Following her resignation from the Exorcist Corps, and Heaven in general, Vaggie was soon taken with Charlie who lifted Vaggie's spirits, reigniting her passions and bringing her happiness that she had not felt in years. Gratified by Charlie giving her a new purpose, Vaggie became her dedicated and loyal partner and an eventual girlfriend, while at the same time keeping the princess' idealistic outlook in check. Vaggie's job was to keep the residents under control and protect Charlie from the assassins who would break in and try to kill the princess. Vaggie has successfully killed all of them, sometimes effortlessly, and tries to make sure Alastor does not eat them while disposing of them properly.

@@zayne8331 its very likely to be true bc in “happy day in hell” she sings a line “those angels minds are hard to change” like she knows them and in “whatever it takes” she sings some lines that tells backstory from when she came to hell and in eps 3 its really obvious to see she grow up in a army (so exterminator army) by how she acts and she haves the same body form as the exterminators and as last (this is btw a fan theory) the angel lady in the trailer haves the same color panel as vaggie even the eyes, so it is a fan the whole backstory but it will be very likely and possibly bc it will make the story spicy and probably we will get fun interactions but we will see it in the next episodes ;)
