We are at Sao Miguel Dos Milagres today in the Alagoas State of Brazil. We check out some pretty cool beaches and stretches of shoreline near Maragogi. Travel with us around Brazil as we explore lesser known-areas where tourists don't get to go. This is the Sao Miguel Dos Milagres Travel Vlog Brazil.

As a travel option, I suggest Cataratas do Iguazú, Curitiba, Camboriú, Gramado e Canela, all in southern Brazil. In Curitiba there are squares and monuments honoring the various peoples that migrated to the State of Paraná, especially various Europeans and the Japanese. Very Cool videos, thank you guys!!

@@eliezerdepaularosa9170 I think that what they least want to see is European or other country culture, the most interesting is the true Brazilian culture that is in the North and Northeast. What they want is warmth and tropical beaches with warm water. So, they would go to europe.

I saw a video that shows just how big Brazil is. If you start at the northern most point of Brazil and one person headed north while the other person headed south (at the same speed) The person heading north would reach Florida before the person heading south would reach the furthest southern point of the country.

The sticks are usualy used in that region for a fishing technique called "currais". They are like fish traps. Nylon nets are fixed in those sticks and when the tide is high, the net catches the fishes, and when the tide gets low, they can take out the fishes from the net.

I'm glad to see your feeling about safety in Brazil has become pretty accurate. Problably nothing will happen to you, as long as you stay away from dangerous areas like favelas (and only 5% of the brazilian population live in favelas, according to recent data, you may google it), but still, it's not the same level of safety of the US, for instance. You have to kind of take care a little bit more and all the time. But that's it. Glad to see you guys enjoying your trip! Guys, amazing! Brazil is very diverse, but also very divided. Some of theses places can be paradisaical, but are usually more structured for the more afluent tourists. Like in Maragogi, its famous for the resorts along the coast, not by its cute center, so it is very bold and nice that you are exploring these areas on a budget, showing a differente perspective... And btw, you can trust Yelp on the region.

Don't miss Iguaçu Falls. Definitely a must visit. It is a little over a one hour flight from Sao Paulo. The falls are stunning.

Hi guys! In my opinion, I think you have to relax more and enjoy the beaches. You could seat at some “barraca” , that restaurants in front of the beach, to chill out, eat a portion of shrimps and drink a cold beer. Brazilians do it a lot.

You can't leave Maragogi without going to Barra Grande beach, which planning to go when the tide is low, you will enjoy the "Caminho de Moises", a beautiful sand bank in the middle of the sea. Be sure to also visit the famous natural pools of Maragogi with a wonderful "Catamarã" tour. Ponta de Mangue is also very beautiful and interesting, there are the second largest coral barrier in the world

With the exception of Rio de Janeiro and the outskirts of Sao Paulo, Brazil is safer than they say or seem. In the rest of Brazil it is very easy to avoid dangerous places or places with drug trafficking. These places are very specific, so just don't go there. With this care, you can walk around the country at ease, you can use your equipment, use the accessories you want. The image of people stealing in the street comes from Rio de Janeiro and all Brazilians recognize that it differs from the rest of the country.

Not to hurt your feelings but there are a lot of very dangerous places in Brazil. Not just the places mentioned. Porto alegre is very bad. Many places, sorry.

@@chicagomike As I mentioned, there are dangerous places, but they are specific. They are points of drug trafficking, or places where addicts live and are homeless. But it happens all over the world, just don't go to those places. My city is bigger than PORTO ALEGRE in population and territory and here you can walk with watches and electronic equipment in the streets or buses in 97% of the neighborhoods, but if you go to the periphery where the traffic dominates, then it is dangerous. And I'm sure that the same happens in a similar way in most Brazilian cities

@@carlosrobertocastro1843 hi Carlos,I agree with you for a part, I'm visiting/stay in Brazil for around 20 years now ,you're right that you mention that there are areas where it's more tricky to go than others but many people don't have a "nose" for that and especial if you don't speak the language it's more difficult to find out. It's not unusual that even many Brazilian people are robbed in these areas, even down town areas. Unfortunately I was . It also depends how you're traveling trough the country, in many city area's public transport isn't really safe but going on long distance trips by bus,no problem. By car it's quiet safe, although there are regions where, in the past, were some problems to. In general and using your common sense it's wonderful traveling in Brazil and even after so many years doing this, the country still surprise me in a positive way,it's beautiful. Greetings.

@@marinusmourik9494 So ... I advise you to do a search on the internet, on the police websites they provide information from safe areas. As I said, in most cities the danger is in the peripheries, in the traffic areas. But in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Curitiba there are cracolandias that are in the centers. In the other cities there is basically no cracolândia. So don't go to those areas. Usually the areas of bars and restaurants are safe. And don't be afraid to use the google translator. It is not just showing the smartphone to someone very suspicious. The Brazilian loves to help, the language is really a barrier, but it is not insurmountable. Everything is a matter of sense, in any country in the world we continue to distinguish a safe place from a dangerous place, bad people and good people. Relax a little and enjoy our country more. I live in a city of just 1.5 million inhabitants and when I went to São Paulo for the first time, I walked the whole city alone, took the subway alone, rode the bus alone and had no problems. I wish everything goes well for you in our country and if you need any tips or help, you can call here that I will be happy to help you. Greetings.

Hello, Bums! Thank you for the work you guys do, with tremendous professionalism and friendly attitude towards Brazil. I live in Michigan, I am from the state of São Paulo in a town named Barretos. I would suggest if possible, and if you guys are indeed enjoying spending time at our country, to get to stay an year long to attend all the folkloric festival Brazil has. It could be postponed due to the pandemic, but I’m sure you guys wouldn’t regret it to attend a Festival de Parentins in the Amazonas, or a São João Party in Bahia, or a Festa do Peão, the largest Rodeo Party in the world in Barretos (my home town)! Good luck with your future endeavors!

Another beach I strongly recommend is Praia dos Carneiros, in the State of Pernambuco. Keeping along the road up north, enter the State of Pernambuco, pass through São JOsé da Coroa Grande, Barreiros, the entrance to Tamandaré and short before Rio Formoso, enter to the road PE-072.
