SNORKELING AT PORTO DE GALINHAS 🇧🇷 BRAZIL DAILY TRAVEL VLOG

Today we are at Porto de Galinhas, a beach in the municipality of Ipojuca, Pernambuco, Brazil. Porto de Galinhas is a big tourist destination. The beach is famous for its bright water beaches and natural pools. It is part of the municipality of Ipojuca, and is located 60 kilometers south of the state capital, Recife. We go snorkeling because we hear it is a great place to do it. Weather conditions aren't the best, and our snorkel gear isn't either, so we have a hard time. If you go to the city of Recife, please don't swim! Recife is famous for shark attacks.I'd suggest you to spend a day in the old town of Olinda, in Recife. The waiting time of one hour for the meal is not unusual. It' sad that the meal wasn't good. This happens, nothing is perfect all the time. I hope the next experiences will be better. I enjoy all your videos.

When you are at a beach restaurant, I highly recommend you to order fish! The most "common meal" is usually the best, you know it's fresh and probably won't make you wait so long.

The services in most parts of Brazil are too slow, in northeast most restaurants the services is slow. In Sao Paulo is fast, the people from other states don't like the people from Sao Paulo because we from Sao Paulo, always tell them how slow is everything. Rio is faster than northeast.

I understand the desire to always run away from tourist routes, but In some places - like Porto de Galinhas - the best tours are the "touristic" ones. The ideal would have been to take one of the "sailboats" that you saw on the beach to go to the galés (natural pools). The photos you saw of Porto de Galinhas most likely were from there.

The last place on earth to eat and buy something is in Porto DE Galinhas front beach...is extremely expensive!!! Look for restaurant in the area nearby.

As you guys noticed, Brazil has a great deal of diversity, so, there is not such a thing as "in Brazil is like this or like that", ever! Even in the same region things are diverse in itself, that means, the time to bring your order in a restaurant can not be considered in the whole country is like that. Another thing to consider, differently from the US, specially in restaurant by the beach, the food are usually fresh, it means, sometime they have to clean the recently catch fish and prepared to be cooked. In the US most restaurants just by all processed fish, potatoes, vegetables and that may be they take so long and in the US they are so "efficient". I think it's much healthier for your guys to have it nice and slowly. Take this tip: Get a chair and an umbrella, tell the guy to put your bags in a safe place, order your food and go snorkeling. That's how we do it. Enjoy!!!

Ubatuba ( ilhas das couves) SP and Ilha grande in RJ are one of best places for snorkeling, Porto de galinhas is nice but is far way to be one of the best places in Brazil. ( Best place is Fernando de Noronha) Quem concorda dá um like!

It's not common to order chicken at beaches in Brazil. I wonder if that was the reason for the delay even though if it's on the menu it shouldn't get so long to be prepared. I am sure if you order sea food or fish it's going to be delivered faster. And nope, it's not usual at all to wait 2 hours to get your order, 1 hour and I'm already at the bar asking if there's any problem.

Plus overcharged meal and delay... This area is touristy internally, and peak season is December/January. The problem is we are facing corona problems and nobody gives a d*mn about it ! The beach was packed and worker are overcharging, why ? probably, because they want to earn enough money to live 'not so touristy' months comfortably. Shame on them. Plus high taxes all over the country and some areas do not have even decent roads and infrastructure to live ? That makes me extremely frustrated sometimes...

I live near of Porto de Galinhas, and I used to go there. But It is not easy have a good experience. The beach is always crowded. The food served at the beach is expensive, and not so good. Even so Porto de Galinhas is the best Beach of Pernambuco, in my opinion.

Go to João Pessoa guys.And visit Coqueirinho and Tambaba beaches. Picãozinho,in Tambaú beach Areia Vermelha ( Red Sand ), in Camboinha beach.It´a sand bench that submerges with low tide. There others like Barra de Camaratuba,Praia do Holandês .

I went to Porto de Galinhas once and I was not impressed. Maybe because I went there in it was high tide. The sand stretch was very short and I thought the place very "touristy". I also had the feeling that it must be a fun place at night.

Hello! I've been watching your videos for sometime and I enjoy very much. Your travel itinerary is very Good. But I think brazilian people didn't give to you the better references of food and places to go. The traditional food at The beaches of Brazil are not chicken, beef or "farofa". So I 'd like to recommend eating snacks of Hot sea food (shrimp) when you are at the beaches called "camarão à milanesa" or "camarão no bafo" or a main course like fish called "à Belle muniere". In The Northest you have to eat shrimp and fish because it is good and cheeper than other places in Brazil. You have to eat a huge plate of fish in a Good panoramic restaurant in front of Jericoacoara. Finally, I Think you must visit Beaches of the South of Brazil (Florianópolis) and The City of Curitiba.
