Lets understand that MEP stands for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing. So there is no role of piping engineers, because its a different field. It has different requirements. It's easy to throughout opnion without any substantial evidence. It's ur view up to your perspective of understanding. However, the contrary is massive modernization is going on in existing plants, existing plants are being modified to free carbon emission units, new plants with new technology with less carbon emission in place, huge no of hydrogen plants in design stage, eg UAE and Saudi are booming with Projects. Russian oil and gas is under expansion, Europe oil and gas are in expansion to avoid dependency of Russia. From my view, piping has long way to go.
